"but of that 日 或者 小时 no one knows,not even the 天使 in heaven,nor the sun, but the father alone."Mark13:32(NASB).The world ending in 2012 is just a prediction 由 the mayans who were obsessed over 占星术 and could predict things like a eclipse thousands of years after there civilization ended.they predict something cataclyismic will happen like something of a natural disaster.the calander they used was 更多 accurate then ours.Nostradamus also predicts the end as Dec.21,2012.That is why people are talking about it.I don't believe the world will end on that 日 but I do believe that we are seeing the signs of the times example:famine,natural disasters,wars and violence.Jesus christ is coming soon;we just don't know when.

Since Paul's time people thought the Lord's return was soon. I think that some people feel superior 或者 special 由 thinking that they know something others don't. This is true with end times issues, and that need 或者 desire has been the spark of cults.
Now, I beleive we should be aware of what's happening in the world and possible ramifications. But our main goal in life should be living holy lives and pointing people to Christ. In the parable of the Virgins, they all knew the bridegroom would be coming soon. When the Bridegroom appeared, half were prepared, the other half were not and suffered the consquences. The key is to to find a balance of planning a life lived for Christ. All the while living as if he may return today. Some people can become so fixated on end times that they remind me of the saying," they're so heavenly minded that they're no earthly good."

That is so right. :) The lord can take us at anytime he pleases, so therefore, I refuse to listen to stuff like that. :)
