When I began this article, it occurred to me that I was about to embark upon the review of the sixth adaptation I have seen of 夏洛特 Brontë's 1847 novel. I have now seen six adaptations of "Jane Eyre" and plan to watch at least one 或者 two more. Meanwhile, I would like to discuss my 查看 on the 1973 电视 adaptation.

As long as I can remember, both the Hollywood and British film industries have trotted out 夏洛特 Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre" in order to make a movie 或者电视 adaptation of it. Looking back, I realize that I have seen at least six adaptation of the novel in my life time.

There have been many adaptations of 夏洛特 Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And I do not exaggerate. If I must be honest, I really have no idea of the number of adaptations made. I have seen at least six of them – including his 1997 电视 movie that aired on the A&E Channel in the U.S. and on ITV in Great Britain.

According to the Wikipedia website, there have been sixteen film adaptations of 夏洛特 Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And there have been ten 电视 adaptations of the novel. That is a hell of a lot of adaptations for one novel. A lot. And judging 由 the numbers, I have no immediate plan to see every movie 或者电视 adaptation. But I have seen at least five 或者 six adaptations. And one of them is Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 movie adaptation.

Many 粉丝 of 夏洛特 Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre", are aware that numerous (probably over twenty) 电视 and movie adaptations of it had been made over the past several decades. While perusing the Internet, I was surprised to discover that the opinion of the 1943 adaption seemed to be extremely divided. 粉丝 either regard it as the best adaptation 或者 the worst. There seemed to be no middle ground.

There seemed to be certain famous British novels that are always adapted for film 或者电视 . . . over and over again. One of those novel is 夏洛特 Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". There have been twelve 电视 adaptations and seventeen movie adaptations. That must be a world record for any literary piece. I have seen at least three 电视 adaptations and four movie adaptations. The most 最近的 I have seen is the 2011 motion picture, directed 由 Cary Fukunaga.
