I did not know there was an Irish language. I thought they just spoke english with an Irish accent.

After learning Irish for the past 16 years, Id have to say sea, ach my Irish teacher would kill me coz she's trying to stop us using that word!

Well yes, I'm trying it but it's quite hard, I know one sentence: Eireann go braugh wich means: Ireland Forever!

Actually, my old Irish teacher would have my head for using those phrases. I did Honours Irish for my Leaving and was expected to use more 'advanced' Irish.

Sea is 'is ea'. But I use Sea in my dialect. What you are saying is se- which means 'he'. Plus, Fanpop doesn't do fada's.

I would learn Irish 'cause it's brilliant and it sounds easy as you get used to it.

Well i maybe be the only one& i now knw my fare share of irish, i hav had that language beat into me 4 the last 10 years!!! So im not so keen about it, when i have to go to my Irish class, i moan& groan all the way!! if we had nicer teachers i have a feeling i'd like it more!! Now am very Irish!! I may not very much like the language but i'm obsessed with our history, i can tell you about the last 800 years of ireland, but it's pretty easy because, most of it's about England trying to take over Ireland!! We ATUALLY won that war after 800 years!!!Irish pride!!:):):)
