Is it true that 你 shouldn't keep an iPhone in, say, your jeans pocket?

Because I just got an iPhone, and my dad already has one, and he told me that I shouldn't keep it in my pants pocket because it will get bent. Is this true? And if it is, what have 你 found to be the best place to keep your iPhone?

well i keep my phone in my pocket all the time and it is ok but if ure scared of putting it in your pocket get a clear protective cover 或者 a rubber cover to go over it this way if u put it in ure poket no harm can be done but i put it in my pocket all the time x
