Even though I appreciate sci-fi spectacle, I\'m hoping that this third outing in the new franchise doesn\'t overdo it with the action and actually has more of the spirit of the original

Star Trek exploration and adventure themes. If they can\'t replicate that on the big screen at least there\'s also a new CBS television show in the works.
