I can't really explain it other than in some covos I've heard people talk about money and say something like "...it was 400$..." when really it was 399.89$. It would sound weird if they gave the exact number. IDK.

I agree with huddyforever he probably 说 40 to seem older to her and cuz he rounded the number.

the 显示 DOES this with age sometimes. Its weird, but just dont pay attention to it. it doesnt affect the story line 或者 anything :)

they only way I think is he lied to the girl about his age because one season is a year.

i agree. he was probably rounding up. i did find a nother mistake though. in the episode where the clinic patient was pregnent and she didnt know who the dad was, she had house test her boyfriends blood and 说 it was because she might have mono. when they figure out he was the dad, they say how far long she was and she of course just started the pregnancy so she had 9 months to go. later in the epi, house is watching tv and 2 guys come in and tell him that he cant be there because he doesnt do what they do. he says hes delivering a baby so hell need them to be at the delivery. when the guys ask what 月 and house tells them, the math and months dont add up right.

First of all, House is the perpetual liar (though he doesn't lie ALL the time) so Chase's statement is probably 更多 accurate!
