You know I thought about it, at least he mentioned the emails of Hotch/Prentiss shippers! So, if he messes up with us, there will be many upset H/P fans! And i'm sure he don't want to lose us as fans. At least I hope so.
Well, my ship will always be H/P till the end of the show. And I still have hope.

Don't be sad. You know, in the first place I was upset too, but the more I think about it, the more I have the feeling the play with us. So, as long the show does not end, we have hope!

Ed is just messing with us.. It's not the first time he does that, it won't be the last.. And hey read between the lines, he KNOWS that a lot of people like H/P..

I cannot believe what i'm reading! If they make Emily lesbian i would definetly stop watching criminal minds. I mean i know a H/P relationship is dificult to make... but come on! if its not hotch there are a lot of mans! hhaaha (of course we want her with hotch)

Seriously, I strongly support the introduction of a lesbian character but I'm a fan of monogamy (duh) and I already ship her with someone *lol*

Allthough it WOULD be somewhat nice to see her with at least someone.I'm strting to wonder if she even knows how to have sex xD

*Shocked* Emily gay.. no way! I think it's so not believable; early season 2, when she was talking to Morgan about her date she definately refered to a he. I could live with her being bisexual though, but really would just be happiest with her being straight! (and with Hotch as her only possible love interest lol)

ok, I watched today all the scenes they've had together since season 2, and I gotta say that It'd be such a waste if Emily turns out to be gay (which I hope/ think won't happen). I understand why EB doesn't want them to "sleep together" (Even though I wouldn't mind ^^), I mean they're the lead characters of the show and it usually means that it's the end of a serie when the writers/producers make their lead characters a couple.

And I soooo don't beleive EB when he says that she might be gay, I mean Hotch and Emily have grown closer since season 4, especially in season 5, they always have a lot of scenes together, she seems to be more concerned and caring towards Hotch than the other members of the team. Moreover, I've noticed that he relies on her for a lot a things now.

I read on several forums that some people don't want them to be together because it would "ruin the show". I personnally think it wouldn't because I completely trust the writers of the show, they've always done an amazing job, and they've never desapointed me. Plus, Thomas and Paget are amazing actors so I'm sure they would make it very realistic (Like Sawyer and Juliet on Lost, I remember a lot of people were against the idea of them as a couple, and It turned out to be a real success among the fans of the show, I remember I was totally against it and after La Fleur episode I fell in love with them!)

thanks for your point of view. I don't think that Emily's gay. Well maybe its just me, but I couldn't see anything she said or did, that might say, that she's probably gay.
I still think EB wanted to confuse us.

About H/P, I want them together on the show, and I also think like you said that it would work on the show, I mean they could make it work. What I don't want when they would do it right now, I think that would be unrealistic. First they need to get closer, and as we all saw, in Season 5, they are growing closer with each episode, and as you said she cared about Hotch a lot, and I loved those scenes. Now after Haley's dead, it would be great to see her carying about Hotch and Jack. I really hope that they show us some scenes with them together, and I think that would be realistic, the fact that she cared so much before Haley died.
And so, the "friendship" could grow, and I think they would have a chance for a relationship on the show, later.
Don't ask me when, I just hope not after 9 or 10 years, like Grissom and Sara from CSI.;)

ITA with you Colette, I'd be unrealistic if they got together right now, like you said they need to grow closer. I just hope it won't be after 9 yrs like Grissomm ans Sara either, that would really suck lol.

Oh no, no and no. They cannot do that I mean it's unrealistic! I have to agree with Celina (ince again) I do not think Emily is gay either. In fact, it's clear for me that she's "straight". I haven't catch anything that she's said or done that may lead us to think she's gay. On the contrary, she once told Joerdan (52 Pick up) that she read in the cosmo magazine about getting noticed by men (or something like that right now I cannot remember her exact words).

So please, Mr. Bernero do not do that. If you do not want them together right away it's okay. We can wait, as long as we have some H/P moments that is.

As Celina mentioned, maybe they're justtrying to mess up with us a bit, just shaking the waters and see the fans reactions to it (hopefully).

And as chouchou22 pointed out, I also hope that we do not have to wait 9 years to see it happen. A bit earlier would be nice.
