As the other people have 说 don't use 黑塔利亚 for your 报道 trust me I have found parts in 黑塔利亚 which aren't 100% historically accurate. Use books, internet, talk to people who know about Russia but don't use fiction.... your teacher won't take 你 seriously. Last 年 I was going to use 《黑执事》 for my essay on jack the ripper but I decided against it as I know I wouldn't be able to use it enough.
a really good site I use for history is this site called Spartacus education, it's got loads if information including primary sources.
