Somewhere around 日 20. Also known as 日 OhmygoshIcan’ttakemuchmoreofthisabsoluteinsanity.
I thought I was kind of getting used to this place. Boy, was I wrong…..
The Warden’s been 展示 me around, new people, places. The Pitt seems to grow and become worse the 更多 I see. One of her 老友记 I met, Blake, has to fight in an arena, twice a 日 for the grazer’s entertainment. Did I mention that it’s to the DEATH?
Gah, I’m already running out of room… no 更多 diary entries on sticky notes…Ah, well Cara’s taking me to somewhere called the courtyard anyway.
Adios for now, Devin
Same day, later time. Around midnight?
If I didn’t believe in all this demigod stuff before, I sure do now. Oh, and my friend’s been seriously hurt, it’s my fault, and there might be 8-foot tall 粉, 粉色 monsters roaming around for a bit. Also my fault.
The courtyard isn’t some cutesy little garden in-between buildings… It’s a lumpy stretch of dirt, surrounded 由 huge concrete walls and full of mutated demigods. 你 heard me right. The grazers take slaves there and experiment on them… turning them into bloodthirsty beasts, monsters, and mutated rejects. All the failed expeirments *cough* every one *cough* end up in—guess where? The courtyard. A fact I wasn’t lucky enough to know until I was 拍击, smack, 味道 dab in the middle of a pack of them.
We started in a building outside, kind of like a guard tower. It had shelves and shelves of weapons (Bad Sign #1) and Cara told me to pick one. I grabbed a bow and quiver, partially because I’ve shot well at camp before, and partially because all the others looked like I’d accidentally kill myself on them before I walked out the door. If I’d known what was in the courtyard, I would have grabbed a rocket launcher instead. Or, even better, I would have run out the way we came… We had to pass through sets of thick metal doors, all of which slammed and locked behind us. (Bad Sign #2) Finally we were in open air. Then Cara interrupted my thoughts.
“Alright there’s not much time until they come. Just listen now, ask 问题 later. In here’s Slicers, they’re Humanoid but smaller: about 4ft tall and fleshy 粉, 粉色 with long claws and sharp canine teeth. Crushers are very large humanoid beings that are around 8ft tall and are very muscular and their skin is brown 或者 just really dirty. They wear clothes that are made of demigod skin, 识骨寻踪 and their armour and other metals they find laying around, you’ll have to look for chinks in it, it’s tough. They use long metal poles to attack. Reavers are large creatures with doglike bodies that stand on two legs and have the deformed face of a human. They use their claws and teeth to kill you.”
My very smart answer: “Uh-” And then a pitbull-on-steriods-type-of-creature came charging at us. I screamed and without thinking, fired a shot from my bow. It seemed surprised to find an 《绿箭侠》 sticking out of its snout before it fell to its knees. Cara seemed impressed, but at the time I was too busy freaking out to be proud.
“What on earth is this place? Why did 你 bring me here? What the **** was that?”
“Relax. I told 你 it’s the courtyard. That was a reaver. We’re here to see how well 你 can fight without sticking 你 in the arena against Blake.”
I opened my mouth to respond, but 更多 monsters were pouring out of nowhere. Apparently they’re attracted to screaming. Lovely. We kept fighting until we found ourselves back to back, completely surrounded. That was the first and last time I’ve ever seen Cara look even somewhat scared. Eventually after rounds and rounds of daggers and arrows hitting the beasts, we were only surrounded 由 lifeless bodies of them. Then I saw someone else coming up over the horizon, the outline of a young boy. He limped somewhat, and I wondered if one of the 动物 had gotten him. I tried to go help him, but Cara held me back.
“Cara, that’s a kid! He’s hurt, we’ve got to help him!”
“Shh, wait.”
The boy stumbled into view and I got a better look at him. His hair was a 魔发奇缘 brown mess with a line of blood trickling from his scalp, but he didn’t seem to mind, his creepy smile was a mile wide. His eyes looked like they were seeing multiple things at once, like bits of broken glass. In his hands was a chainsaw.
“Devin, that’s a crazy one. I’m out of daggers. 你 need to kill it. Now.”
“What?...But it’s human-” Faster than any injured child should be able to move, he struck with the saw, hitting her leg. I screamed, she screamed, it grunted and smiled wider. I closed my eyes and let the 《绿箭侠》 fly. I heard it hit the target and then I ran to help Cara.
Okay I’m done… no 更多 details for you. Blake heard us screaming, managed to somehow blast a hole in the 墙 and we got out. Cara’s getting medical help, and I’m sitting like an insane person in my cell, one hand on the bow, the other shakily 写作 this down on scrap paper. Ace is looking at me funny, but he knows better than to ask 问题 just yet. I’m going to try to forget about today now.
G’night.

The Cold Truth: This club is dying. It has been for a long time. People haven't 发布 anything(meaningful, yes I'm talking of those who banter in the Getting to know forum, myself included) in far too long. So my 问题 is a simple one, one I should have asked a long time ago; Is it worth it anymore?.
Funny, we all 说 we would never leave... We all 说 this place is a family... We all thought we loved 写作 enough that it could last.
So is this it then? Are we going to let this club die off completely? Because anyone who doesn't see this is blinded 由 the past. The truth is we are all growing up, finding different interests and hobbies, and 你 know what... We learn to forget about this place. I myself was blind, but mabye, just once we can rewrite the fate of this club and remember why it is we are here; To fucking write about being the sons and daughters of the mightiest in all of Myth.
