Just parts like when she said to Harry that he's got a bit of a 'saving thing' and when she awkwardly said that she's got to do the Prefects duties in the Order of the Phoenix. I mean say Hermione had a Godfather and she's seen a vision of him being tortured by a murdering maniac, I don't think she's appreciate someone saying she's got a saving thing. And why couldn't she of told Harry in the front of his face that she's got to go to the front of the train with with the Head boy and girl instead of saying it like she's scared or something.

I do realise that Hernione was loyal to Harry a lot, and I'm not denying it but I was quite suprised when I found out that she'd been talking behind Harry's back to Ron. Saying that she was very disappointed and thought they would of achieved something by now.

(This will be the last insult about Hermione Granger! Promise!) Also she was a little-miss-know-it-all and didn't try to hide it at all. It's one thing being clever but being like that is another. I can't stand it when all Hermione worries about is tests at Hogwarts especially in the first few books, in the others she was a lot more relaxed.
I'm not trying to be mean, I do like Hermione a lot but sometimes I don't always agree with what she says or does.

Mostly in the first book. She always orders the boys around like they're her kids. I still love her, though haha!

I had contradictive feelings about Hermione as I read the books. I like her character, but I'm far from idealizing her and can't overlook certain things about her behaviour that I don't find appealing at all. Obviously, she like every other character had her flaws, but what annoyed me a lot sometimes is how she was rarely called out on them (whereas other characters quite often got cruelly punished for their flaws or wrongdoings) and was expected to always be considered the one in the right even when she was clearly wrong. When throughout the entire book 5 she insulted Luna's father and Luna's beliefs, it was not even pointed at how offensive and rude it was of Hermione to do so, especially since Luna did nothing but helping Harry and the DA, whereas when some other people called Luna "Loony" they were painted as immature bullies. That was my major issue with Hermione - when she did things just as wrong as the others she always got a free pass because she was meant to be an idealized perfect character and it make her look Mary Sue-ish sometimes. Hermione would constantly doubt Harry and even sometimes make him feel insane because he could see or feel or hear things she couldn't (like voices beyond the viel) because he had a different experience and faced things she had no idea about, she often stated her completely subjective opinions as if they were fact not accepting any attempt of someone making a different point or disagreeing with her ("Half Blood prince is obviously a girl, Harry", "There are no Horcruxes at Hogwarts, Harry") and she never admitted to be wrong later even if she ended up being proven wrong. I wish she had been more acknowledged to be a flawed person instead of her flaws being justified all the time, maybe I would have been less annoyed by her at some points then.

Yes, but her "annoying" moments made her feel real - the character flaw are vital, imo. Otherwise she would've been a bit too perfect.

Also, I think she grew out of her annoyingness as the series went on. All of the trio did a lot of growing up and I think they became better people after going through the experiences that they did.

Love her she was the one with the "Brains" so she had to be slightly annoying
