why not a portkey....

ok here's my doubt. in deathly hallows they take harry on sirius bike to 唐克斯 house inorder to get the portkey to the burrow. my 问题 is why cant they arrange for a portkey in a place very close to 女贞, privet, 普里怀特街 drive that will take harry to the burrow. why is all this beating about the 衬套, 布什 for?? it would have been much simpler, safer that way isnt it?

if u know the answer plz tell me i'm really puzzled 由 this!

Great reply ! Moody explains this precisely : any means like Apparition, Floo and Portkey are under the control of the Ministry of Magic, now infiltrated 由 the DE. He's aware of that, as is the rest of the Order. Harry has still the Trace on him. Like Moody 说 in the movie (if I remember well), Harry sneezes and the Ministry knows it.

well, everywhere was like being watched 由 death eaters, so they chose those specific locations because they were protected. remember? the death eaters couldnt go into them.
