I think Stephenie would look prettier if she didn't have that smug look on her face like she normally does. Sometimes when I see pictures of her, it's like she seems a bit conceited. JK looks more down to earth and naturally pretty in most of her pictures.
I bet Meyer would applaud you for choosing a 'young-looking' person.(she kinda likes those kind of folks, no? the never-aging ones?) but, again, who cares?
@lakota_spirit-That's kind of mean. You've never met Stephenie, so how can you judge her? Just because you don't like her book doesn't mean she isn't a nice person...
I do like Harry Potter better, but Stephenie really is pretty.
Rowling looks fine for her age, i guess. She also probably looked fine in her prime, but Meyer looks lovely right now. I love her hair. (I don't think having fat makes someone ugly, and I'm not even slightly chubby. go figure)
you said you don't like Rowling cause she's old-looking.
I said I didn't like Meyer cause she's a bit chubby.
(tell me where is the un-"shallowness" in your answer YKI?)
I didn't say she was ugly for being fat.
..and you're the one who is always so big on "freedom of expressions" and "right to opinions" and that sort of stuff.
I'm saying I'm not shallow for not finding old women attractive.
I think finding chubby women unattractive is a little more shallow.
By your logic, finding anyone unattractive is shallow
'I think finding chubby women unattractive is a little more shallow.'
and your comment was NOT shallow? WHY?
if you are trying to say my comment was shallow, fine, i don't argue w/ you. it IS actually shallow, and I know that. I intended that. anyway a shallow answer is bound to turn up every now and then especially w/ a pick like this.
but why would your comment be un-shallow? I found Meyer unattractive for being a little bit chubby. isn't that on the same level of shallowness as your reason?
By your logic, finding anyone unattractive is shallow
Let's pretend you're an 18 year old girl and you see an guy standing across the street.
Your friend asks you "Hey, do you think that 70 year old man is sexy?"
If you say "no, he's too old for me" are you shallow?
If your friend says "Hey, is that chubby guy sexy?"
If you say "No, he's too fat for me." are you shallow?
Saying someone is old isn't rude, insulting, or negative.
Saying someone is fat usually has negative connotations attached.
Let's use HP as an example
Dudley and Vernon were compared to fat pigs. They weren't good characters. Nevel was chubby in the beginning. He wasn't the best protagonist until later when he became thin.
Dumbledore was old, Mcgonagall was old. Old wasn't meant as a negative thing.
you said, JK was too old-looking. not old. old looking. i wasn't even commenting on what you said, i gave my own reasons. but you just had to comment back.
Both.
Jo looks stunning for her age (honestly, she looks like she's 30) , and Steph is beautiful even though she is not skinny (because being skinny is some kind of stupid ideal right now).
That's a really bad picture of JKR, I normally love how she looks! All creative and artistic-y :3 I think Meyer looks... I don't know, like there's something wrong with her, I do like her hair though. But I just don't think fatter people are attractive, call me shallow, but it's true :/
She's 45?
Yes! That means she'll live longer which means I'll have a longer chance of meeting her!
I mean I too thought she was kinda old and she was turning a senior.
Fine, shes yoinger, shes a little prettier, but too bad looks dont count much in the life of an author. Its about whats inside their heads, not what they look like
It's a bit unfair that you chose a pic of Jo that looks terrible and a pic of Meyer that is actually ok. But in genrel I'd say Jo is better, it's just this Meyer pic is actually the best :P Not that looks matter...I mean Tom Riddle was so danm hot and look what he grew up to be...
I hate Twilight, but Stephanie's prettier I guess :\
You should've gottena better pic of Jo, though. Just sayin. But who really cares what they look like? Jo is still a much better author.

Stephenie is soo pretty.

how did you figure that one out?
That answers all your questions above
Your friend asks you "Hey, do you think that 70 year old man is sexy?"
If you say "no, he's too old for me" are you shallow?
If your friend says "Hey, is that chubby guy sexy?"

You weren't shallow for not finding older women attractive then suddenly I was shallow for not finding chubby women attractive.
I think I am entitled to my own opinion and shallowness.
I think Jk looks fantastic for 45.
Forget what I said about looking good for her age. I thought she was closer to 60
