I like them both but I am quit fond of the vamps vs the weres.

vamps vs werewolves is too cliche for my taste

Can't deny that but I have alaways liked the idea.

Vamp vs. wolves is in basically ever vampire book and it gets boring, frankly it so unoriginal and its not just twilight but i hate reading book w/ vamp and wolves now that i have read soo many.

The vampire vs werewolf thing was so watered down - the Underworld was much better.

They weren't even werewolves in Twilight, just saying. At the end of BD they clarified that they were only "shape shifters"

I love the house rivalry, it's less 'I want to rip your throat out' and more 'let's go prank slytherin'.

In the sense that they are never going to get completely past it. They got along well enough to coexist and later unite for the greater good, but they'll eventually revert back to their old ways, I believe.

I think the Vampire/shapeshifter rivalry ended with Jacob's imprinting. At least between the vampires who participated in the Breaking Dawn confrontation and the Quileutes.

Oh come on ppl... you gatta love a little fight before a quitich match! And I LOVE Harry vs Draco... a very interesting relationship, that ends up saving not one but BOTH of their lives
