Before 你 read anything: I happen to enjoy both HP AND T. I also happen to think HP is a billion times better. This is just my opinion. No need to freak out about this article. I am NOT trying to undermine T fans' opinions, I am just stating why I (and at least a few others) get annoyed with T fans.

So most of the posts on here have to do with of course, Harry Potter vs Twilight. But after skimming through comments, I found a shocking amount of crazy responses from twilight fans. This got me thinking. Maybe the reason this fued has grown so large is not because of the question: Is Harry Better, 或者 is Twilight? But because of the insane amount of fighting there is between the fans, in the comments, and posts.

I'm sure to T fans, HP 粉丝 sound pompous, and stuck up, because we are always parading how, HP is so much 更多 well written and intelligent, and Twilight is for 14 年 old girls. (I happen to be a 15 年 old girl, and am NOT obsessed with Twilight, so yes, it is possible.)

To HP fans, T 粉丝 are annoying as heck, way too emotional and not to offend anyone...but lots of their 评论 are not very intelligent. Such as this one, that I read earlier today:

"Well,cedrics voice is exy,but cedric don't pluch his eyebrow.Edwrad is already painted as the sexiest vampire ever so that makes him heaps better.Sorry cedric,but i would rather edwad"

Seriously. I know that many T 粉丝 are way better at voicing their opinons than this...but many 评论 are like this. It gets annoying after a while.

I realize there are many people out there that DO NOT fit the stereotypes I just described, but hey, just a thought.

pimp_my_alpacka ^ people feel the need to give long answers because 'yes' and 'no' don't give enough emotion needed to get their feelings across. This comment I actually find quite offensive because it's not only the HP fans that are giving long responses! I take it your a Twilight fan, because you happily overlook the fact that there are some twilight fans that have posted long comments in reply. If you think for a second, if everybody lived by your response, then HP and Twilight would never have been written! What I think you need to do is just think before you post next time. If you're going to accuse the HP crowd of something, make sure the Twilight crowd hasn't done this aswell! And also, make sure it wasn't as stupid as what you just put. People should be able to write what they're capable of writing, whether it's a sentence or five paragraphs long without people like you critisising them! The HP's make good points, and you critisise them for that? Nah, it doesn't work like that.

jammyd97 Guste_LT you need to get your eyes tested, because twilight fans have been putting long answers as well. People like you are just dick heads who think they can post whatever they like. Next time you wanna diss cool people like Harry Potter fans, don't expect us to sit there and take it mate.

I'm an Hp fan all-the-way, and i agree with this article. @Guste_LT You're not the one who wrote the article, so you don't have to read the comments, and if you think they're too long, like I said, don't bother reading them! If everyone followed as you say and only wrote 'I agree' or I disagree', that's not going to change someone's mind! This is a debate spot, so people post longer answers to try and convince the other side *T* to come to HP. They DEBATE!

Torment17 Look, I'm going to be reasonable, so we can all get along. (Please?) Yes, I'm DEFINATLY a Twilight fan. But I HAVE watched The HP films, due to my brother liking HP ALOT as a younger child. I have had to put up with HP, But when I can, I find somewhere to watch Twilight. I respect those who like HP, I give a lot more respect to those who love Twilight, I respect the HP fans, because, it is their own perspective. And you're saying our grammar skills need to develop and grow a little because we use short hand spelling or don't spell properly? Please! If you read my comment again, you'll see that I'm not putting any short hand, and using quite complex words in small places, to prove my point further on, I do alot of writing for articals. And, I'm Team Edward, because I think Jacob isn't being reasonable. Thats actually not the only reasons, but if I told you those other reasons, the HP fans will get annoyed with me. And please, if you want this fight to end and we can all get on with our lives without being interupted by a opposite fanbase stuck-up to your own oppinion, don't write any articals about it, and maybe (...just maybe) it will end. And, to be fair on me, let me have one part where I'm being un-reasonable to HP fans. Yes, you have caught me red handed. Because, Quite Frankly? Twilight Rules-Forever.

pimp_my_alpacka ^ exactly. And to be honest, the spelling wouldn't actually bother me, if it wasn't for the grammar aswell. Text speak is tollerable, but the way some T fans used grammar is just unexceptable, so it creates and easy stereotype because there isn't many well spoken twilight fans like yourself.

hrrypttrfn328 @Torment17 I just needed to add one little thing to your comment: you said very explicitly that you use big words in your comment just to make your point. You use them only to sound smarter, which is pretty much the reason Meyer has her Thesaurus nearby when she writes as well. Big words for the sake of big words only make you sound more juvenile on the whole.

SuperSnuffles13 UGH. Tooooooooooooooooooooooooo many insane Twifreaks. There are other people on this page who have English as only a second language who can speak better than the really obsessed Twihardsthat I have heard of. :)

aberforthLuna What I have trouble understanding is why Twilight fans like the series so much. I read all 4 books and regret it very much. I consider it wasted time. To me, nothing stood out as particularly interesting or enjoyable. However, I'm am partially biased, being a Harry Potter obsessive. But honestly, I read through every single comment on this post, and while HP supporters give evidence and reasoning behind their love for the series, the Twilight fans just say "Read the books before you judge!!!" Seriously, just tell us what's so great about it and maybe we'll stop stereotyping! :)

fireladyofzuko I happen to think Harry Potter is one of the best-written, most wonderful series I had the fortune to read! :P But, on to Twilight:- I think the plot is good, but rather weak...Though, I really don't "hate" it. As for the fans? Sure, they can be annoying. But not all of them are. And some Harry Potter fans, I'm sure, can be rather annoying as well. Oh, but... Harry Potter forever, indeed! :P

TheLoneWolf I have no problem with Twilight fans (THEIR opinion) but have you heard zome of the things they do to people who don't like it? It's horrible. And when they rant about how much Harry Potter sucks when most of them have never read it. I know some of them have but lots haven't. I don't like Twilight but that's just my opinion.

I've noticed that one of the things Twilight 粉丝 say is that Bella is a 更多 relatable character than Harry. I think that that is a good point because technically, 你 can be a normal teenager who goes to school...

Some people (not necessarily Americans) have admitted having trouble with the British words in Harry Potter. To solve this problem, I give you...An Americans Guide to British words!

1) Prat
Someone who is described as being dumb 或者 self centered. Usually acts against logic.
e.x. Jeez, Roldolfo is such a prat!

2) Git
Basically, a jerk. Shallow and/or childish.
e.x. Look at that git, strutting around like he owns the place!

3) Err...
The British equivalent of umm...
e.x. "Errr.... is it 42?"

4) Barmy
Insane/Crazy.
e.x. That old mans gone barmy!

5.) Blast
Equivalent to "Dang!"
e.x. Blast! Some git's taken...

Why I Enjoyed Harry Potter 更多 than Twilight

Twihards 或者 Rabid 粉丝 (thats obsessive Twilight fans, all of you): Don't read this. I don't want to get mauled 或者 drowned.
I apologize for any spelling 或者 grammar errors.
Don't get me wrong- I like Twilight just fine. However, many parts of it really annoyed me. Here are my reasons why I liked Harry Potter better.

1. Characters.
Lets compare:
Lead female role in HP: Hermione Granger. Flaws: a bit nerdy, Know-it-all, and Bossy. Good traits: Stood up for herself (as well as think for herself), worked against racism (for house-elves), was loyal to Harry at all times, and didn't try to kill herself...

I got Breaking Dawn on the 日 that it came out and was hoping that Meyer would somehow redeem the steadily deteriorating quality of the Twilight series. What a huge disappointment. I was even 更多 disappointed when I found out how Meyer was responding to the criticism towards it. Then I discovered that she was 写作 Midnight Sun. I looked 前锋, 期待 to that because, even though all of the 图书 suck, they are a guilty pleasure and Twilight was the best of all of them. Then she stopped writing...
