Over-all, the movie wasn't that bad. It stuck very, very close to the book (like, literally taking lines straight), with the exception of one 或者 two parts, so Breaking Dawn 粉丝 will absolutely 爱情 it. But, even if you're like me and hated Breaking Dawn, the movie was still pretty enjoyable. Definitely not unbearable. The effects were great, the 音乐 was awesome, and Kristen kicked major ass. There was humor (because Charlie was there), there was drama, and there was even an awesome fight scene. (One-and-a-half, really.)

Spoiler-y Opinions
Liked:
-The one-liners.
Charlie's “are those graduation caps.” That would be a great tie-in for when Charlie finds out about the Cullens in part two.
Jess' “do 你 think she's gonna show?” and her 评论 about the size of the wedding cake.
Charlie's “you needed something old. Well, besides your mom.”

-The 烤面包, 吐司 speeches.

-Jasper's facial expressions. Especially is “WTF bro?” look at Emmett for his double entrendre toast, and his “wait...what?” look at Carlisle when Carlisle announces that there's a bag of blood in the fridge. And his various creeper grins for no reason throughout the movie.

-Carlisle and Esme scenes. For someone who doesn't speak a lot, Esme shows some pretty intense chemistry with Carlisle.

-Seth. I didn't think it was possible for him to be 更多 adorkable than he was in the books, but he managed to pull it off. I just... really want to shrink him down, keep him in my pocket, and carry him around forever.

-The special effects. Kudos for doing just a good a job as Captain America in making someone who's not scrawny and sickly into someone who believably is. My mom honestly thought Kristen had gone anorexic 或者 something for the role.

-The fight at the end between the Quileutes and the Cullens.

-Jacob's trick to allow Carlise, Esme, and Emmett to go hunting.

-Mike, Eric, Alice, and Jasper dancing at the wedding.

-The soundtrack. The 音乐 for the series is always great, but this one just took the cake. The 音乐 that played while Bella decides she wants to keep Renesme was just absolutely brilliant.

-Edward frantically trying to resuscitate Bella. Rob actually moved me with that performance. Kinda.

-Kristen's acting. Yeah, I 说 it. She was phenomenal here as Bella.

-Brotherly wrestling under Bella's window. We hardly (in the movies, anyway) get to see Edward, Jasper, and Emmett interact, and seeing them act like normal brothers (and guys) was cute.

Didn't Like:
-Lautner and Reaser's acting. I don't know what it was. Dialogue? New Director? New writer? Bad 日 on set? I don't know – but their lines were just stilted, flat, and awkward. And Lautner just really didn't get to me while he sobbed outside. I was 更多 entranced 由 Jacob's wonderful leather 夹克 and Reaser's absurdly large forehead than I was 由 their acting. (Which is crazy, because I normally like Lautner way 更多 than Rob, but that all switched this movie.)

-The imprinting scene. I knew there was no way to do that without being really corny. It was written as an internal monologue, and those are pretty hard to portray (unless it's a play). But it wasn't the cheesiness that got me – it was the creepiness factor. When Jacob thinks of Renesme, he doesn't see a little child in need of protection (like it was sort of done in the book), he sees this a much older woman (maybe early twenties?) who he would do anything for. It was just squicky.

-Edward forgetting for about five 分钟 that Bella needed vampire venom. In the book, there isn't much time for Edward to get the venom. In the movie, he stands and holds Renesme for around five minutes, cooing over her, before Bella dies. And then, he takes another few 分钟 trying to resuscitate her before reaching for the venom.

-The implied “Sue's sleeping with Billy and Charlie.” Sue and Charlie's relationship was never really expanded upon, so we never really get a feel for how serious they were. But I'm pretty sure they were serious enough that Billy didn't think he had a chance, and Sue wasn't seen traipsing back and forth between the two houses.

-Stephenie Meyer in the movie. I've had this problem before. It's not a problem of Stephenie, I just dislike when authors put themselves in their movies.

-Edward telling Bella about his past the night before the wedding. Mostly because it served no purpose. Readers already knew that, and non-readers didn't need to know. Edward tells Bella he killed murders (for no apparent reason, since he knew it wasn't going to change her mind about marrying him, and she kind of knew that already), and it was never brought up again. It was just some really awkward “hey, let's remind everyone that Edward is a killer to kill time” type of scene.

-Changing the 狼 voices while shifted. I understand Sam's voice changing, since he's the alpha. I can understand Jacob's voice because he's the beta-turned-alpha. But the others? We don't know very much about the Quileutes, and the only recognition we have for them are faces and voices (except Sam, Leah, Seth and Jacob, who we can recognize in 狼 form). It just served to confuse people and made it harder to keep track of who was who.

-Rob's trouble with his speaking/accent. I swear, I thought the first line he spoke was “I was just checking for coffee.” It wasn't until they started talking about the wedding that I realized he had 说 “cold feet.” He does this a couple of times throughout the movie. It doesn't take away from the movie, it's just a pet peeve of mine. Especially since Rob is usually good about his accent and speaking clearly.

-Bella and Edward getting out of the car, to walk into the middle of the street, just to make out. Much like the "I'm a killer, Bella" scene, it just didn't serve any purpose. At all. It wasn't fluffy romantic, because they spent 更多 time 展示 what was happening around Bella and Edward than they did focused on the two. And because they didn't even honeymoon in Rio, and they still had to get back to the car to get to the boat.

The Twilight vs. Harry Potter 辩论 : Team Potter and Team Twilight take on 问题 #1

December 24, 12:44 AM
由 Michelle Kerns, Book Examiner

If 你 haven't met the members of the Twilight versus Harry Potter 辩论 Team, cast your eye on their qualifications here.
Now, on to the debate! If you've got your own opinions (and what self-respecting Twi-hard 或者 Potter head doesn't?), feel free to leave a 评论 at the bottom of the page. However, let's remember we are civilized witches, wizards, vampires, and werewolves...

Okay guys, I know everyone's got their own opinion and not everyone has the RIGHT opinion, but as a Twilight fan, can one of 你 Potter 粉丝 explain what 你 guys see in Harry Potter? Honestly, I haven't read all the books, but I've seen all the 电影院 and they just don't make any sense. And another thing, the plot is bland and there's no real depth to it, like in Twilight. Harry Potter, also has no 爱情 in it, which makes for a boring story. Anyways, I just wanted to know what 你 crazies see in those 图书 and stuff...

Okay...
See ya :D

This is taken place two years after the events of New Moon.. I warn 你 , it's really long.

Sorry for the typos. I'm really tired.

2.41pm
Sitting on Emily's 长椅, 沙发 for the thousanth time in the last week, was surely a high light.
But the waiting for Jacob was not. He can take far too long sometimes, no doubt he does it on purpose, that way when he finally arrives, I'm almost boucing up and down.

I can tell he likes to see me like that, to see me happy, most defiantly for him.

But I suppose the most fulfilling thing in my growing need for Jacob is watching little Lylia and Dannielle sleep peacefully...

10.its down right boring hmm lets read the same boring thing over and over! yea! NOT!
TEN REASONS TWILIGHT IS HORRIBLE!!!!
posted by RavenclawRocks
Before 你 all come out with pitchforks and guns, I'd just like to say this is my opinion.

1, Half of the 粉丝 only like Twilight, because they think Rob/Taylor is hot.

2, I can't argue about the plot because there isn't one.

3, Bella has no personaility.

4, Edward is just plain creepy.

5, Bella always needs a man in her life. When Edward leaves she needs Jacob. This is really stupid.

6,Bella wouldn't even look at Edward if he wasn't hot.

7, Edward wouldn't look at Bella if she didn't smell good.

8, It gives a bad message. Like kill yourself when your sparkly boyfriend is around. 或者 there is no point in being happy unless 你 have a boyfriend. 或者 it's ok to ditch your 老友记 to 日期 a super hot vampire.

9,Meyer constantly repeats the same words to tell us how hot Edward is. This gets boring after two pages.

10, The actors suck.

There, ten reasons. Feel free to add on more.

I’ve seen articles, like bri-marie’s, comparing Bella, Twilight’s “heroine” to the girls and female role 模特 of the Harry Potter 图书 like Hermione and Ginny. I agree with them whole-heartedly and I am happy to follow in the footsteps of strong women from Harry Potter – like Ginny, who is fierce and pretty bad-ass and just 总体, 整体 a strong female, and Hermione, who is studious and smart and witty and the boys often rely on her skills and “genius.” Because let’s face it – and Ron says it himself – where would they be without Hermione?
So I wanted to make my own because...

"This 吻乐队(Kiss) between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it's been building up for eight films now. And Harry Potter is not Twilight, 你 know; we're not selling sex." - Emma Watson

If 你 think Emma Watson is stupid for quoting this, 你 are outta your mind. 你 think Twilight's not selling sex? Irony. Irony how some twi-hards reason out "BECAUSE EDWARD CULLEN IS SO SEXY!!!" if asked why Twilight is better than Harry Potter.

For me, Twilight is just 流行的 'cause it has sex appeal. Wait for several years, no one will be talking about Twilight anymore.. Harry Potter won't be talked about that much but it will never be forgotten. In my case, I know Harry Potter will be a future classic.

Twilight 粉丝 go ahead and attack me, whenever you're ready.
This 文章 isn't mine, this is just an 文章 I found on cracked.com (one of the best sites ever!). I agree with most of it, and on that note remember this is opion based, not fact. This is...*drumroll* if 你 don't hate Twilight already, why 你 SHOULD hate Twilight!

Enjoy, and no getting pissy (that's right I'm talking to 你 Twilight 粉丝 girls) if you're going to post, DON'T POST unless 你 write something I can understand. For example, THIS is something I can't understand:
omg liek edward iz liek sooo hawt an like sexxii an liek OMG umminess an u hateur iz liek tttly stoopid an homo an--
It's hurts too much to even finish the example! Anyway, again no haters and enjoy!
Obviously, this spot is about debating Harry Potter and Twilight, and I realised I've never written an article, so I decided to put down all my reasons for Harry Potter being better than Twilight.

Firstly, the 'love' in Twilight is not love. It is over powered lust. To my memory, Edwrad and Bella never have a conversation about from who loves the other more. Edward likes Bella because she smells good, Bella likes Edward because he's 'handsome' (which can't even be proven, he's a book character, we never see him).

The 爱情 in Harry Potter is shown as an amazing, all powerful thing that can sace...

Harry woke up the 下一个 morning with a feeling as though there was a heavy block in his stomach. He got ready and dressed and went downstairs. Ginny was already at the table, waiting for him. She smiled nervously at him, and he 说 to her ‘Don’t worry; compared to what we’ve been through, this is practice.’
Ginny laughed, and Harry felt pleased. They got their children ready, and dropped them off at the wizard 日 care, as every adult wizard would be in the battle.
Harry and Ginny apparated with Ron and Hermione to the Cullen backyard, where the battle would commence. When they got...

Note: I originally had this as a question, but I guess it was too long, so I'm re-posting this in an article.

Question number one: 吸血鬼 hearts don't beat, correct? Correct. I believe this is mentioned several times. Now, in health class, they teach 你 that your 心 pumps and makes your blood flow, correct? Correct. So, it stands to reason that, since 吸血鬼 hearts don't beat, they don't have blood flow, correct? Yes. So, they have no blood flow, no circulation. They cannot bleed, 或者 blush, 或者 anything related to circulation, yes? Yes. This is 说 several times in the book.

Now, call...
