I have completely changed my mind, HP is better than Twilight, i have read both series, and i have now come to that agreement with myself. After weighing out the pros and cons, it seems that HP, is the better story. (:

Nice. 8 years for me. Probably my favourite 圣诞节 was 2001 when I got the box set of the first four, a gringotts moneybox and a HP bookmark. After I read them I fell in love.

I am. :) Proud one. I don't remember exactly how old I was when I first started liking HP, but I know it was before I was 11. I was so crushed when I didn't get my Hogwarts letter. :( Talk about breaking a little kid's heart.
And even in my prepubescent age, I still had a crush on my (would-be) Potions master. *Represent* And I'm not ashamed to admit that either. XD I 爱情 older men.
I've been 更多 than slightly obsessed with Harry Potter since I was 12. I remember seeing the 图书 in my school library, and thinking they didn't really look that good- at least, I couldn't understand the hype my librarian was giving them. On a trip to Sydney, I was allowed one present- I choose Chamber of Secrets without realizing it was the 秒 one. After I had read it four times in a week, I was allowed Philosopher's Stone and never looked back. Harry (and 更多 importantly Severus) have been with me ever since, and hopefully, for a long time to come. :)

i am i 爱情 harry potter i have never read twilight and now don't intend to thanks to all the crazy rude offensive twihards i think harry potter 粉丝 are way better at least we don't post harry potter stuff all over 潮流粉丝俱乐部 its called fucking respect seriously if i hear team edward 或者 jacob one 更多 time i will fucking lose it harry potter is and always will be better than twilight and i don't have to read twilight to know that it has a better story line, better characters and of course way way better 粉丝 no competition i'm proud to be a harry potter fan

well though i haven't read both stories i have done my homework i do know what twilihgt is about i read it on wikipedia but i see what 你 mean and maybe i will read it the reason i don't want to is all of the crazy 粉丝 they kinda turn me off to it but i guess i migiht read it but i still know what its about and based on the storyline i can i like harrypotter
I know what 你 mean. A lot of things annoy me about the Twihard (stereotypical retard fan, not all of them), and here's an example of one of those things: repetitiveness. They say the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Same answers, same picks, same articles. They're like broken record players.
Well 你 are a Harry Potter and 星, 星级 Wars 粉丝 so go you. Anyway, I personally think Twilight is rubbish but at least read the first book. I think Bella's mindless obsession rubbed off on some of the diehard fans.
@LadyLilith - Also with the 问题 they ask to others, such as: Are 你 Team Edward 或者 Team Jacob? Don't 你 think edward is HAWT? and other nonsensical-yet-sensical 问题 out there.

I did try to read the other, unmentionable book and haven't gotten past first few pages. So I went and watch the movies. I'm still trying to erase that exprience from my memory.
Who isn't a Harry Potter fan? The small percentage of people who don't understand the books, and the other people who haven't read it (yet). HP is forever. Honestly, it's a whole amazing world...
I decided to give Twilight a go, since I'd heard it was 'the 下一个 HP'.
I haven't even finished the first book, and I started it in 2008.
Meyers 写作 style really threw me. I was expecting JK Rowling level genius, instead I got... mediocre. That, plus the boringness of it made me put it down for good.
And FYI, I didn't want to read HP before I did either, but likewise, I tried it, and... the rest is history :D
I've been a die-hard, obsessed 粉丝 since I was seven 或者 eight. It's been awhile (I'm fifteen now), and I recently read the series over again (for the ninth time), have just discovered Wrock, have just re-discovered my old HP games for PC, and watched some of the 电影院 with my younger sister, who just started 阅读 them. I couldn't get off my Harry Potter high if I tried. It's incredibly powerful, this series- it speaks to 你 in an indescribable way. We are very lucky that Ms. Rowling just happened to think of the boy with the lightning scar... Oh, and a die-hard anti-Twilighter. :)
