got a 问题 for twilight antis

A book is meant to have a plot, therefore, Twilight's lack of plot is a bad thing. It's also the first thing we think of.

Well, the thing is, nothing really happens for the first 7/8ths of the first book. Making out and gazing at each other's beauty is NOT a plot. There is no struggle. Edward does not struggle so hard to resist Bella. He doesn't even break ONCE! That would have worked as a plot, but it's way too easy for him. The plot is technically present, but only thrown in sillily at the very end in an "oops! forgot a plot! Let's just throw this in and call it a plot" kind of way.

In the 秒 book, the same thing happens. Bella doing reckless things is not a plot.

Third book, the plot is there, but nothing happens with it until the very end. No struggling battles between Victoria and the Cullens, just one quick and easy battle at the very end.

Breaking Dawn admittedly does have two plots. Only the first one is good, though. It doesn't make any sense and SMeyer breaks her own rules to create it, but it's technically there. The 秒 one, though... it builds up to a climax, and!!!! Nothing. Nothing happens. Complete anti-climax and pathetic excuse for characters and storyline. Happily ever after is super easy.

Well other than the fact that it's true, it's just the most relevant. I mean, that was the first thing that came to me after I read Twilight and Harry Potter. This sums it up for me:

well, 你 actually need a plot to have a book, and if 你 read a book, 你 want it to be about something, right?

As it happens most Anti-Twilight are Potheads. We have already established a standard/benchmark after 阅读 HP... and it's bloody HIGH! After 阅读 the Twi-series we can't just help but agree that SMeyer indeed can't write worth a darn.

Because that's their biggest fail.
