If i were in the Cheif or Bailey's situation i would leave him to suffer his wounds, no question!

They are quite cleary in a crisis. Therefor shortage of doctors, so he'll take what he is lucky enough to get and like it, or suffer quietly and wait for the crisis to end.

And can i just add, this guy had the Cheif and Bailey that where going to look over him! Only like two of the best doctors in Seattle Grace. What an idiot!
