very difficult for me toanswer as these are possibly two of the best characters on the show, as well as being my favorite! but theres been so much alex hatred going arond recently that i had to pick him!
Meredith, God it is scary some people love him, then we wonder why so many women end up in abusive relationships. The guy is abusive, an asshole and I don't even find him attractive, too slimy for me, he makes me ill. Meredith is SO much better
alex abusive, at what point have we seen him be abusive to any woman? if you recall the only fight weve seen him in is when george punches him (rightly so) he is one character that we have seen a great development from! hes still a jerk yeah but he doesnt mess orund anymore hes learnt from his mistakes, if i could find a decent guy like that id be happy!
Alex is emotionally abusive to women and men, he is cruel. The scene where Denny was screaming in pain because Alex shocked him too hard and he was smiling viciouslyy, that is about as abusive you can get. I hate the bastard and have hated him since then. And on a pure shallow note, I find him ugly, he has a cold hard face. George is much more attractive in my opinion

Alex had development in season 3 and he regressed right back in season 4 as he got close to izzie again, but then Izzie always did bring out the worst in him

Callie always pressured george into going too fast, she told him she loved him after two weeks or something and got mad when of course, he could not say it back so soon. She knew he was never as committed as she was. H did love her, just not like she loved him. When he proposed, he was half crazy with grief and instead of waiting till he was rational and sane again, she had him elope, a week after his dad's death according to Bailey, away from his friends who could have told him he was making a big mistake. She took advantage of his state insteaed of waiting and having a long engagement. He slept with izzie while drunk, he might have loved Izzie, ut he had never realized it and I am convinced he would have never slept with her if he had not been drunk. He felt so bad he blocked it out from his memory then did his very best to stay away from ehr except when she had Hannah there and needed him. He felt so guilty he failed his exam. He kissed her once and they never did anything out of respect for Callie. He told Callie the truth pretty early on as soon as he had made his decision and only slept with izzie after the divorce. They did not even kiss out of respect and he NEVER paraded Izzie. He always felt guilty, so guilty, according to Shonda, he could not have a relationship with izzie, kiss her, and that is why the sex was so bad as he felt so guilty. So cheating once on someone you married when you were half out of your mind and feeling very guilty about it is way better than what Alex has done. Give me a sweet,c aring guy like George who made one mistake out of love to a guy like Alex who cheated with Olivia, treated George like dirt just because George was nice, slept with a married mother he does NOT love many times without an ounce of guilt and totally SOBER (very different from guilty georg, no), caused physical; pain to a dying man, took pleasure out of it, made bets on when he would die and informed the woman he supposedly love of it, told George about Callie cheating on him just for kicks, treats people like dirt and almost caused Addison her career when she helped an extenuated woman stop having kids. LOL, how can you even make a comparison without cracking up laughing? george is a million times the man Alex will ever be, oh and Alex froze like a chicken during heart surgery and George like a man did it all by himself. Amd george helped Alex when he failed his exam and Alex amde fun of him, yes Alex is so the best person.
Whoever says that Alex is heartless and cold are idiots! He is completely in love with Izzy and she doesn't even look twice at him, he has gone through so much and the only reason he is a jerk sometimes is because he is trying to hide the fact that he is in pain on the inside!
He is not heartless but he is often cruel and mean and selfish, he looks down on George for his sweet nature when he should try to be more like him. He is a waste of airtime to be honest and I would not mind if he got killed or elft the show to be with Addie, the one person I liked him with. He does not love Izzie, if he did he would treat George with respect because she loves him and he would not have been so eager to sell her out for the LVAD wire incident, he also would not have been so mean to ehr and Denny during the Denny incident, he was a monster!

Most people here are ok, but I did read someone on this site calling George a hobbit which I found offensive but this is the Net and you get really offensive people everywhere. I read racist remarks on IW, very very nasty remarks about Sandra Oh, homophobic remarks on TR on some of the sites on the Net. It is like people know nobody sees them on the Net so they can post whatever they want. TR said that he had read people on the Net say he had an ugly face and it had hurt him, but then he got over it and just stopped going on the Net and most actors did so because they got so hurt about all the nasty comments they read about themselves. I have been lurking here for about 4 months but never had time to joined, but now I am on vacation so thought I would. I don't really hate Alex, but he is my least favorite character and Mer is my second favorite after George.
yer i dont get why calling the characters physically ugly is hlpful i mean i dont really thik tr is my kind of attractive but i dont go round being like oh he ugly cuz i know others do, so why do it about justin! especially as people go around saying stop calling george ugly!
Who called Justin ugly? I heard Alex being called ugly but I think they meant ugly as in ugly personality, being mean makes you ugly in my book. George is beautiful because he has such a good, sweet, caring, warm face. He is much more my kind of attractive but I have seen noone call Justin ugly, just Alex, there is a difference.

exactly I find Alex ugly but not Justin because Justin is a great guy and Alex is awful, I hate the way he was O'Malley O'Malley when Izzie told him like George was inferior or something. Why? George is amazing, I'd fall in love with him too. that made me hate him more than anything.
