I was crying before he actually said this quote, something about Blair in tears gets me in tears... basically GG is somewhat unhealthy for me.

However, I cried a little more when he said it, which is rather shocking for me as lately I have not been the biggest Chuck fan.

The reason I haven't been the biggest Chuck fan since about 2x16 is because I've been finding him a little arrogant, a little too sure of himself and a little unwilling to put any effort in for fear of losing his "image".

I respect that the idea of losing who he is in the eyes of the people around him is scary, I was just disappointed because I know he knows deep down that in doing so, he would be becoming a better person and the people around him would respect him more for that.

Therefore, over the past 8 episodes I've been very unenthusisatic about Chuck and Blair (and I used to be one of their biggest fans), and have appreciated Nate and Blair more. I still love NB, and especially love the mature decision from the both of them at the end of 2x23, but I've also kept in the back of my mind that I would love for Chuck to redeem himself before CB reunite, because I've been waiting for it all season and I wouldn't want it to be wasted.

Over the course of 2x21 and 2x22, there was some acts from him that made me think, Chuck is growing up at last... but this very line really made me think that Chuck is now respecting the people around him and their feelings.

Now, he just needs to understand those feelings a little better, find some self confidence again (which he lost as a side effect of losing the people around him; though the latter was his fault) and realise he can make Blair happy... by losing some of the pride he has and admitting that he loves her TO her, because that really is all she wants; to be loved.

Also, knowing she was the reason somebody like Chuck Bass had reformed himself just for her would make her ultimately happy, so :o)

OMG I loved this, it gave me chills!!!

But I also liked when he was coming back to the city with Georigina and they were talking about how the lord can't enter your body through alcohol and he was like "Well thats good because I'm the one who prefers to do the entering." Or something like that lol

It almost made me cry.

So this was really a hard one because I just adore 'because I love her, and I can't make her happy.' I should really pick that one I guess, but when he was saying this to Blair it touched me so much. I and She probably realized he was really down but in these words he just for once showed her how vulnerable he really is and I've been waiting for that for so long.
And ofcourse it's sweet that he wants her to be happy, but I already knew thatXD

It was so heartbreaking

When Chuck said this, it made love him more. It was so sweet but heartbreaking at the same time. It really showed how much Chuck really does love Blair, which is why I love this quote.

I also really liked when Chuck said "That's good, because I prefer to be the one doing the entering." It made me laugh, and the look on Georgina's face was priceless.
