The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about 伊斯兰教 is what the word "Islam" itself means. The religion of 伊斯兰教 is not named after a person as in the case of 基督教 which was named after 耶稣 Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. 伊斯兰教 is the true religion of "Allah" and as such, its name represents the central principle of Allah's "God's" religion;...

We often read and even recite this scripture, but I wonder how many have stopped to really look into what it means. The ability of God far exceeds that which we can express 或者 even that which can enter into our thoughts. The English language in all its vastness is limited in expressing the ability of God. Paul in an attempt to explain says “exceeding abundantly”.

For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer's fear is... reverence of God.
