SM Entertainment assures fans Taeyeon is okay after her fall off stage

Earlier today, fans were alarmed and concerned when they found out that Taeyeon had fallen off stage during the \'2014 Seoul Music Awards\' on January 22 due to the darkness blinding her from an unsafe part of the stage.  According to witnesses, she fell off a stage approximately 2 meters (~ 6.6 ft) high due to a lift having been operated without checking. 

Afterwards, the dancers and fellow members rushed to help her up.  She was then treated on the spot with painkillers and returned home.

SM Entertainment said, "Fortunately, she did not sustain any serious injury.  She was just told that there was some shock to her lower back muscle, so she received treatment for that and then went home.  We plan to consistently check Taeyeon\'s condition and make sure she doesn\'t overexert herself."

We hope Taeyeon is getting all the rest she needs to make a quick recovery!

wow 2 meters ! I don\'t like Tayeon tbh but no normal human would wish bad things to happen to another human. Glad she\'s doing fine.

If she\'s from other entertainment, I bet she was immediately sent to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately...she\'s from SM

Haters please. Stop dragging "karma" into everything. Why is it always her fault? Before Baekhyun there was no hate for taeyeon. Since then, every little thing she does garners hate. People are just nitpicking her now. Can ya\'ll get a life and grow up? She didn\'t fall on purpose and stop bringing Sica and karma into this.

Gaon chart award is next week, for the sake of her injury  I hope they don\'t perform. 

I hope that they rest well too. But I don\'t trust SM. They always overwork their artists.

I was so shocked after Taeyeon\'s fall.  Seohyun also nearly fell through TT TT I  hope they rest well and don\'t overexert themselves. I don\'t trust SM though.
