What exactly is the "homosexual agenda?"

I caught CNN this morning. Apparently, Mitt Romney appointed an "openly gay" man to be his potential foreign policy adviser. This man (sorry I'm bad with names) is considered highly qualified. Nevertheless, a right-wing talking head was lambasting this choice because it's advancing the homosexual agenda.

How????

He went on to say that the homosexual agenda is the biggest threat facing America.

What?

I know I'm ranting at this point, but none of these "family values" types ever explains what exactly they mean.

I know Romney is not exactly a friend of the LGBT crowd, 或者 he was when he was gov of MA, but it was the talking head blathering on about the "threat" to America. He was truly riled up 由 Romney selecting a gay man to serve as one of his advisers. On a somewhat different topic, are Canadians getting nervous about their border? 你 know a bunch of us will be heading north when the wack-jobs take over the US!
