\'X-Men: Apocalypse\' Cast To Include \'Game Of Thrones\' Star Sophie Turner As Jean Grey

Director Bryan Singer has revealed the names of the celebs who will play the younger versions of mutant superheroes Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse."

"Game of Thrones" actress Sophia Turner will play telepath Jean Gray. The character was originally played by Famke Janssen.

Tye Sheridan ("Tree Of Life," "Joe") has been cast as the new Cyclops, who was featured in "X-Men: Origins."

The weather-controlling Storm, who was famously played by Halle Berry, will now be played by Alexandra Shipp, who is most known for the made-for-television movie about R&B star Aaliyah.

Oscar Isaac has been cast as villain Apocalypse. Returning cast members include James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence. It\'s been rumored that Channing Tatum will play Gambit, Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine, and Ryan Reynolds will be Deadpool.

The film will take place in 1983, ten years after Wolverine traveled to the past to prevent a bleak future. The X-Men team up with Cyclops, Storm, and Jean in a battle to stop an unprecedented apocalypse by an ancient enemy.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will open in theaters in 2016.
