Anyone from Texas who HATES FNL?

Someone I'm close to is from Texas, still lives there, and hates FNL I mean really really hates it. He says it never shows Texas in a positive light and is always focusing on the dysfunctional families. Oh and he doesn't get why Coach would put up with Riggins being a chronic drunk who shows up to practice late half the time-apparently that's a big no-no and will not only get 你 kicked off the team but kicked out of school.

So anyone else from Texas who feels this way? Feel the opposite? Leave feedback, I'll check in when I can
