Despair Hits My 心 - Rebecca Mott
link

I have been coming back into life – I know this is good. But this post is about my confusion, my grief and my despair that I still do not understand what it is to be alive – beyond being a role.

I will write in the back parts of my mind, I will try to drag out the stuff that scares me, that blocks me, that still make wonder if I am still nothing but an object finding how to please others.

I don’t know how to be human, that it not some philosophical...

Have 你 ever been offended 由 those stereotypes? Well, I get offended pretty easily 由 the gender stereotypes. Whenever I get offended I would complain and stop watching 或者 playing the game altogether. Nearly all 电影院 and tv shows and even the video games are made 由 sexist men who think that women are not as capable as women! Let's look at one example, the movie Gremlins. It may be funny, but can be sexist. I hate that movie. It portrays women as weak, cowardly, helpless, and over FUCKING dependent! And males as too overprotective and muscly and too fucking irresistable! Gosh, I hate when...

MYTH #2: 心 disease is a man’s problem.

TRUTH: Since 1984, 更多 women than men have died of 心 disease each year. Women have a 28% increased risk of dying as compared to men to die within the first 年 after a 心 attack.[1]

I read a lot of stuff online talking about the “tone argument” and how it’s used to silence feminists. The gist of it is that a feminist is angry about something and delivers a criticism of it, and the opposition points to the way the feminist is angry as a means of shutting them down without ever acknowledging the criticism as valid 或者 that the person has a right to be angry. This is a problem, and I have seen it occur in threads, so the anti-tone-argument sentiment has a respectable basis. However, I believe the sentiment is often misused so that it ends up causing the same sort of...

Something I’ve noticed on TV is a plot sometimes used where there’s a lesser-privileged (i.e. female 或者 black) character 表演 irrational, and the audience is sympathetic to the more-privileged (i.e. male 或者 white) character who points out all the flaws in the less-privileged character’s rationale, only to have the plot twist where the less-privileged character turns out to have actually been right! The revelation doesn’t lead to 更多 respect for the less-privileged character, however, because they are still portrayed as irrational. It’s 更多 like ‘hey, isn’t weird how they turned...

Farida broke all barriers

by Ophelia Benson

How miserably sad and depressing. Farida Afridi, an activist for tribal women in Pakistan, was murdered today. (You know how. 你 don’t even need to look. Leaving 首页 for work. Guys on motorcycles. Guns. Died on the way to the hospital.)

Along with her sister Noor Zia, Farida was committed to social change and economic emancipation for women from the platform of a welfare organisation called the Society for Appraisal and Women Empowerment in Rural Areas (SAWERA). Both women were among the founding members of the NGO and had a Masters...

x and y are not dissimilar . In fact they are so similar that y is called x with missing leg. If that is correct then there remain no difference in blue print . if blue print is same how can the structure erected on the basis of this can be different. Only difference must be in arrangement and for a capable mind that is no difference at all . so to say man is just the woman with clitoris enlarged as penis. Vagina stitched to be scrotum and ovaries dropped down from the tummy as testis........(Ref-man is the extension of woman)

Non-haters gonna non-hate: NiceGuy Edition
--David Futrelle

From: link

Once upon a time one of the guys over at NiceGuy’s MGTOW 论坛 set up a little 民意调查 asking his fellow “nice guys” whether 或者 not they actually consider themselves to be misogynists; it’s been up there for years, and the site’s resident MGTOWers have been adding 得票数 and 评论 all along. The wording of the 民意调查 is sufficiently, ah, flexible enough to give respondents a lot of ways to wiggle out of saying explicitly that they really were misogynists:

* I despise the entire female sex. Period.
* I hate only "western"...

Dear Feminists, Will 你 Also Be Marching In N***erwalk? Because I Won't.
by Keli Goff

(Published in The Huffington Post)

The only thing 更多 irritating than people doing absolutely nothing to make the world a better place are those actively trying to make it worse, but coming in a strong third? Those whose well-meaning efforts to make the world better are so misguided that they make things worse 由 default.

I was reminded of this when I happened upon the SlutWalk protests taking place in New York this past weekend... with my mother. (If you're looking for something super memorable to do with...

From Change.org:

Why this is Important

To appeal to men, Dr Pepper Ten completely revamped their marketing strategy from Diet Dr Pepper. Dr Pepper Ten has calories and sugar unlike its diet counterpart. Instead of the “dainty tan bubbles” on the diet can, Ten will be wrapped in gunmetal grey packaging with silver bullets. And while Diet Dr Pepper's marketing is women-friendly, the ad campaign for Ten goes out of its way to alienate and denigrate women.

For instance, there's a Dr Pepper Ten 脸谱 page for men only. I had to create a new 脸谱 page indicating I’m a guy to even view the...

I looked up various 视频 involving feminism on YouTube-feminism has become my passion, and while looking at the 评论 for some 视频 I find a lot of sexism and anti-feminism. I will keep all 评论 anonymous, however I'll give give 你 the link for the video. Here it goes, hold on to your lunch boys and grrls as sexism is NOT dead.

Hello. It's my first time 写作 an article. Well, have 你 ever been bullied 或者 harassed 由 men online? Have they ever criticized 你 for stating your opinion on the internet, whether it be on social media like Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, 或者 Youtube? And how does that make 你 feel?

It happened to me many times. That aside, let's talk a little bit about it. I feel that it originated from the non-technological world, where assertive men were considered "driven," "motivated," etc. while assertive women were called "b*tchy," "rude," 或者 even worse--- "bratty" 或者 "immature," when in reality,...

I wrote this quickly, so it is not great, but I hope I get my point across.

It is a shame that so many people seem to have this picture of feminists as oversensitive man-haters. That is not what it is about for me at all. It is also not about wanting to be a man, which seems to be another notion that people have. It is about women getting the same chances as men, and getting the same credit/ pay for doing the same work. It is about being tired of the fact that the phrase “girly-boy” is seen as an insult, while the phrase “like a man” is seen as a positive thing. It is about hating that...

嘿 guys, there are some really inspiration stories of feminism and liberation floating around the web, so i thought i'd tell 你 how i developed my feminism....At the age of 6.

I grew up in a partiarchal family. My father suffered from grand overt narcissism, biapolar, sadomasochism and manic depressive dissorder and would beat my mother constantly. It was horrific, me and my sister watching him drink all night and then he'd come 首页 and berate my mother. If the house wasnt tidy enough, he'd smash her personal pocessions and throw things at her, screaming at her and unloading buckets of...

Over It
by
Eve Ensler - Tony award winning playwright, performer and activist

I am over rape.

I am over rape culture, rape mentality, rape pages on Facebook.

I am over the thousands of people who signed those pages with their real names without shame.

I am over people demanding their right to rape pages, and calling it freedom of speech 或者 justifying it as a joke.

I am over people not understanding that rape is not a joke and I am over being told I don't have a sense of humor, and women don't have a sense of humor, when most women I know (and I know a lot) are really fucking...

Freedom 或者 Death
By Emmaline Pankhurst

This speech was delivered in Hartford, Connecticut on November 13 1913

I do not come here as an advocate, because whatever position the suffrage movement may occupy in the United States of America, in England it has passed beyond the realm of advocacy and it has entered into the sphere of practical politics. It has become the subject of revolution and civil war, and so tonight I am not here to advocate woman suffrage. American suffragists can do that very well for themselves.

I am here as a soldier who has temporarily left the field of battle in order to explain...

It’s commonly 说 among feminists that women are naturally less inclined towards conflict and hostility and thus would make better leaders than men. While the premise has an element of truth to it, the nature of earthly politics means that the ability to inflict harm is pretty much how anything would ever get done. I propose that any politically-minded person—male 或者 female—is willing to think practically about moving around the ability to inflict harm just through the inherent nature of government. Law in itself is about using violence to impose order but the lawmakers are so removed...
