Im not sure if I could pick just one, but here are a few of my favorites:
Eleanor Roosevelt: She was a shining example for women in politics. She had a major effect on women and the world in general. Also, her famous quote "noone can make 你 feel inferior without your consent" are words to live by.
Alice Paul: she played a major role in getting women the right to vote.
Audrey Hepburn: she is an icon. Between her charm, her movies, her style, and her charity work, I absolutely 爱情 her.
Anne Frank: I have read her diary several times, as well as a couple of other 图书 on her. Perhaps because of her young age, she was able to write with a purity that was amazing. She explained herself without trying to hide her faults, and could make 你 both laugh and cry. It is sad to think we will never know what she would have done if she had been allowed to grow up. :

Great list! What got me the most about the diary of Anne Frank is that she never knew just how much of a influence she was to this world. She died unaware of her wonderful legacy and thats really tears me up. Anway, i agree 100%!
I know this combination might seem odd, but I have to say that Audrey Hepburn and Angela Davis have to be two of my favorites. Angela Davis, because she was (is?I don't know if shes dead yet), a very strong, independent black woman who didn't conform ti male 或者 white standards. I chose Audrey because she is boy only an Icon, but a really good person who did a lot of great work for UNICEF. I'm sure threes at least ten more, but they're escaping me right now.
