潮流粉丝俱乐部 问题

Would 潮流粉丝俱乐部 be compared to anything like Facebook?

My parents won't allow 脸谱 in the house because of the security, and some other stuff that was on it. I was wondering: Is this a secure site for everyone's profile, and is this site anything like 脸谱 或者 Twitter? Is it a chatroom site?

潮流粉丝俱乐部 答案

潮流粉丝俱乐部 is nowhere near as invasive as Facebook, but it is a web site where users can post comments. So there is an inherent security risk, but again, it's not like Facebook.

脸谱 is about promoting oneself; 潮流粉丝俱乐部 is about shared interests.

Users on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 browse through the site, finding 俱乐部 that interest them. These 俱乐部 are usually on a specific topic, such as a TV show, a film, an actor, a hobby, a sport, finding a job, telling jokes, and so forth. Users become "fans" of those clubs, discuss those topics within the clubs, and share material relevant to those 俱乐部 (videos, URLs, 图片 and trivia). And yes, there is chat and private mail. The 潮流粉丝俱乐部 Terms of Service require users to be at least 13 years old, and the material on the site should be appropriate to teens and adults. Users have a fairly robust reporting system for noting any violations of the Terms of Service, as well as less objectionable violations, such as posting content unrelated to the club in question. Users who violate the Terms of Service are often banned from the site, and the staff is pretty responsive for removing objectionable content. Such content is uncommon and removed quickly, but it should also be noted that it is not prevented. People can spam, people can troll, people can post objectionable content. There are consequences for such actions (usually banning the user), but the content gets 发布 first.

As to profiles: 由 default, users do not provide a lot of information into their profiles. There is no expectation that users provide their real names, nor are addresses, phone numbers 或者 e-mail addresses publicly visible. Users can choose to share URLs (say, of a personal blog 或者 a 最喜爱的 web site), but they are not required to do so. Users can also post a 个人资料 picture but are not required to do so (they can have no picture, 或者 post a picture of something unrelated to them). As with any web site, users are encouraged to be cautious with their personal information, for while the 个人资料 has very little information in it, it is publicly visible. There is, however, no 搜索 function for users on the site, so people would not find a particular user unless they'd interacted with him previously and become a "fan" of that user, 或者 knew the 用户名 and did a 搜索 in an online 搜索 catalog (another good argument for not posting a real name in one's profile).

In summary, 潮流粉丝俱乐部 is far 更多 secure than 脸谱 with personal information, largely because personal information is not required. It is 更多 secure - significantly so! - but it is not totally secure.

slightly off topic but: i don't understand why people put their address, telephone etc on facebook. it isnt required and if anyone wants to know they can ask. i dont see the benefit of posting it for my friends(who likely know anyway) and this way i dont worry much aboot privacy 或者 mark zuckerberg stalking me on 脸谱 either .

Depends on how 你 use Facebook; some people use it as their primary means of communication with 老友记 and family, and in that case it's a convenience for them to have your contact information there. Many people change cell phones annually, for instance, so it can be an useful way to provide that info to everyone. Not that I do this, mind, but I can understand the thinking of people who do. Maybe they're not as concerned about the lack of true privacy on FB as we are...?

No, in my opinion it's not. On 脸谱 你 give your real name, share information about your life and have contact with your real life friends. Here on fanpop, 你 don't have to give any of your information. It's a site where 你 can anonymously discuss anything your a 粉丝 of (like movies, tv shows 或者 celebrities). Any inappropriate content will be deleted 由 the F4, so 你 won't find anything offending 或者 age inappropriate. I have never received spam from fanpop, so giving your 电子邮箱 address is 安全 too, nobody will see it. 你 can chat on Fanpop, but if anyone bothers you, they will be suspended. The 报道 system works very well.

If 你 don't share any personal information, like your address and telephone number, 你 will be completely 安全 here on Fanpop!

I hope your parent will let 你 use Fanpop!
