潮流粉丝俱乐部 Users 问题

Is it 俱乐部 或者 Spots?

I'm really sorry if this has been talked about in another moment, but I have a question. I used to come on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 quite often before, now it's been a while since I've been a really active user. But I do still wonder around every once in a while. It's great to see so many new things (more options for searching, questions, screen caps, etc etc) and the speed at which the site is growing.

Anyway I noticed that the Spots are now called "Clubs"... Is there any difference between the two? 或者 a specific reason why the name changed?
I find it hard saying the "xx club" =D... Not a very important question, just a small doubt from me being away for a while.
Thanks!

潮流粉丝俱乐部 Users 答案

i think the reason it was changed was that 更多 people would 搜索 for "fan club" on e.g. google- they are 更多 likely to find 潮流粉丝俱乐部 this way. 你 might 搜索 for "how i met your mother 粉丝 club" on a 搜索 engine (if 你 dont know fanpop) and no one would 搜索 for"how i met your mother 粉丝 spot". also people immediately understand how a 粉丝 club works..rather than having to wonder what on earth a 粉丝 spot is.
im thinking the 更多 users 加入 the 更多 "club" will become common.

right now there are still plenty of users who say "spot" because they are used to it and because it seems very 潮流粉丝俱乐部 specific. if someone on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 says "i saw it in the club" they could also mean a different 粉丝 club...or a golf club for that matter. so when using "spot" everybody gets what 你 mean immediately. but like i said..im guessing that will change. im pretty sure the faqs and such still have the term "spot" used.
quite confusing the whole matter ;)

Spots and 俱乐部 are the same thing. The F4 just changed the name to make it less confusing for new users, since "spot" doesn't sound as much like a fan-site. However, the term "spot" is still commonly used.
