Is it 俱乐部 或者 Spots?

i think the reason it was changed was that 更多 people would 搜索 for "fan club" on e.g. google- they are 更多 likely to find 潮流粉丝俱乐部 this way. 你 might 搜索 for "how i met your mother 粉丝 club" on a 搜索 engine (if 你 dont know fanpop) and no one would 搜索 for"how i met your mother 粉丝 spot". also people immediately understand how a 粉丝 club works..rather than having to wonder what on earth a 粉丝 spot is.
im thinking the 更多 users 加入 the 更多 "club" will become common.

right now there are still plenty of users who say "spot" because they are used to it and because it seems very 潮流粉丝俱乐部 specific. if someone on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 says "i saw it in the club" they could also mean a different 粉丝 club...or a golf club for that matter. so when using "spot" everybody gets what 你 mean immediately. but like i said..im guessing that will change. im pretty sure the faqs and such still have the term "spot" used.

Spots and 俱乐部 are the same thing. The F4 just changed the name to make it less confusing for new users, since "spot" doesn't sound as much like a fan-site. However, the term "spot" is still commonly used.
