It has been going on for awhile, but I've noticed it especially most recently. The bottom line of this entire 文章 lays in its title: pick's aren't made for advertising.
Repetitively, picks are being created that ask "I've just made a spot for ___, will 你 加入 it?", 或者 something along those lines. Picks like these aren't really opinions and hold little gumption in terms of an interesting 民意调查 或者 contrasting 查看 on a subject. Picks like these are being made to solicit new spots, which isn't what picks are for.

As reviewed in the advertising guide, 你 should place your 链接 resourcefully and post your new spot on the thread...Don't clutter spots with unneeded picks. There's really no need, 你 can effectively 做广告 your spots through other means.
