This is kinda stupid but...I want a fanfiction.net and don't know what to put for my pen name. Do I put my real name 或者 a username? Please help........
NEVER put your real name. ALWAYS use a nickname/pseudo. For a very simple reason :
I don't know how old 你 are but know that if 你 put your real name, it shall remain on the net. And once you're old enough to seek a job, recruiters 谷歌 your name. If they stumble on your FF.net stuff, they may think 你 are strange/weird/unsuitable for the job. I mean, 你 may write whatever 你 want, the way 你 want, but be careful as some people may not understand that hobby of yours.
That's what I do as I do not want any employer to find out what I write (mature, steamy, adult, violent stuff) - they would think I'm mental.
So be careful. Very careful. That's the 建议 I give to all youngsters that venture on the net. 你 shall leave traces on the net so hide them well.

For sure they will. And at the proper time, they can get the thing out and have it out in the open for everyone to see. The same goes for pics. That's why I'm on the net with pseudos and will never 加入 the likes of Facebook.
I wanted to add that it's better to choose a pseudo that can fit all fanfic writing, because we can change in tastes, but not the account (well, that's 更多 difficult).
It can be anything 你 want. Mine is my 潮流粉丝俱乐部 name, but I've seen people with totally different ones 或者 even their real names. It can be whatever 你 want.
As for your 问题 about making account with fanfiction.net Once after 你 put your information,you can makeup any pen name 你 want to,it don't have to be your name unless that's what 你 want.I been with them since 2005 and I just made up my own pen name.I weither make up a pen name instead of using my name because it makes it 更多 fun! My pen name is PocahontasJohnSmithForever,yeah it's long but that's what I like.I was thinking of changing my pen name here recentaly but since I made some 老友记 there and they already know me 由 that pen name, I decied not to.I just didn't want to get anybody confused 由 changing my pen name and saying in messages of what my old pen name was. I might change my mind later but for now it's gonna stay the same.And yes 你 can change 你 pen name any time 你 want to as it well under your settings once 你 sign up. 你 can even add a 阿凡达 which is just little picture 由 your pen name. Your welcome! And yeah my pen name is long! Anyways my reason for my pen name is because I'm big 粉丝 of 迪士尼 movie Pocahontas and Pocahontas and John Smith are most 最喜爱的 charcters! Of course since 魔发奇缘 came out I'm 更多 nuts about it but I still 爱情 Pocahontas.I would change my pen name to fit both my 收藏夹 but since I had this so long and people already know me 由 that pen name.It would get confusing to them if decied to change it.
It can be anything 你 want it to be, like what you're a 粉丝 of, maybe add a little fanfiction to it, unless someone has already taken it, but be careful. 你 can even change it if 你 don't like it once you're done. Simple as that.
