Old neighbour keeps warning us about our house

My husband and I just moved in this remodelled house last 月 with our toddlers. It’s a Victorian-inspired 首页 that we got for a low price. We were so happy and excited to this new life waiting for us. She keeps telling me to burn sage 或者 do some ritual thing to drive away bad spirits. Should I just take precaution and follow what the lady is saying? We haven’t felt anything peculiar yet. How do I tell the old lady to lay off from us?
