I think maybe because of their history he loves her, but is not IN love with her. He's been there the entire time, going through everything with Daniel, so he probably feels a certain attachment to her, but not romantic love like Daniel.
I do, however, agree with you in that he was attracted to her.

I think his heart hurts everytime he sees Daniel and Luce together because Daniel's bound to Luce by a curse ,and when he loved someone he was rejected.I think that all along he really wanted to help and save Luce ,which means taking her away from Daniel. Deep down he cares about Luce ,he LOVES Luce. He wouldn't annoy her so much if he didn't.

no b/c he evil and trys 2 hurt daniel and he knows Luce doesn't like fighting but he does it anyways so he doesn't really care about her... however i loved the part when luce and cam were goin on a picinic and gabe came in hahahahaha i was mad and laughing when that happened but you can't help but love it when you read when luce 1st sees daniel in this life and he flips her off hahahahahahahahaha i was laughin for at least 2 mins
