The good thing about being a vampire for centuries is 你 can accumulate a lot of money. Our life here is rather simple. I feel like the odd man out again, which is the way it always was, I suppose. It is easier to forget that when there is something to take my mind off of it, however. When I have things like tracking the Quileutes and 阅读 their minds to find out whether we are facing a fight with them, I become momentarily important. The other four depend on me for something, and their paired up 爱情 matches are secondary in my mind- even if only temporarily.


That has passed now, and we live in a sense of tense peace...

CONTINUED from Unexpected part one....

I pulled Carlisle aside and told him what I knew. This was bad. This was very bad. We had a lot to deal with here, and obviously, we couldn't let this kid go 首页 to tell the entire world and let him- and us- be destroyed 由 the Volturi. I could tell instantly from Carlisle's thoughts that he didn't want to harm a young boy who had parents at 首页 worrying about him though, either.

So now what? Do we face his destruction- 或者 ours?

It was obvious that we were going to have a problem on our hands either...

Our time here in Alaska is fairly peaceful so far. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, including myself. That is when I am avoiding Tanya's never ending 爱情 overtures. We all appreciate the Denali's for opening their 首页 and land to us and especially for being so gracious about it. It has been a nice reprieve for all of us.


Tanya, Kate and Irina are considered to be sisters, although like us, they are really only related in vampire terms. Their vampire creator, whom they consider their mother, was destroyed thousands of years ago....
