Happy 圣诞节 Donald !

A 迪士尼 Tale: Jiminy Cricket introduces two tales - Bongo the 熊 (a slightly disturbing tale of 爱情 in the 熊 community) and Mickey and the Beanstalk (a 迪士尼 version of the well-known fairytale).

Disney Hero: With two 'films' in this package feature we have two main heroes. First up is Bongo. Bongo is a circus 熊 who runs away to the forest and meets the 爱情 of his life. Bongo never speaks in his film. He is dressed in a jacket, bow tie and hat and runs the full gamut of emotions. Four years after the appearance of Mickey Mouse, in 1934 born a character destined to fortunate happening equally: Donald Duck. This is a gosling, devised from Walt 迪士尼 and realized graphically from Ub Iwerks, but it is thanks to great designer Al Tagliaferro that Donald 鸭 acquired that graphical style, funny and characteristic, that has contributed to giving to the comic strips amusing scenes. Early debut
Donald may well have made his first printed appearance in Mickey 老鼠, 鼠标 Annual 3 (published 1932; the annual for 1933), a 128-page British hardback. This book included the poem Mickey's Hoozoo, Witswitch and Wotswot, which listed all of Mickey's then-current 稗 animal 老友记 (most of Disney's major characters developed out of this 稗 scenario). Among them was a 小鸭 named Donald Duck. Besides the name, however, there is little similarity between this character and the one introduced in The Wise Little Hen during 1934. According to Leonard Maltin in his introduction to The Chronological Donald - Volume 1, Donald was created 由 Walt 迪士尼 when he heard Clarence Nash doing his "duck" voice while reciting "Mary had a little lamb". Mickey 老鼠, 鼠标 had 迷失 some of his edge since becoming a role model for children and 迪士尼 wanted a character that could portray some of the 更多 negative character traits he could no longer bestow on Mickey.
