in my opinion, the last scene was one of the strongest in the whole season.

Agree completelely. The whole episode was one of, if not the best episode of the series so far.
And the last scene was something special.
I liked that it wasn't about the Doctor or Amy/Rory or anything like that. It was a breath of fresh air. ;)

But for me the best bit was seeing James Corden in the next time... bit. I actually squealed a little bit. I love that man!

Wow, simply stunning. I am an aspiring artist and Van Gogh is my all time favourite artist, so I am a bit biased. Even with that bias this episode was, as xrockstarx put it, "a breath of fresh air". It wasn't about the Doctor this time, it was about the person that the Doctor had an influence on.

I was really touched! The show usually has that nice sentiment but this episode was beautiful! I've loved Matt and Karen from the beginning but wow, this episode shows how much depth they have.

I'm just saying it was good not epic because I associate epic with big explosions and crazy ass action sequences. I still agree that emotionally, it's the best episode of the season so far. One of the best of the new series.
