princesslullaby picked the dwarves crying because of snow white’s death:
well, i'm glad shang's scene made it to top 5. OMG I can't BELIEVE Cinderella's dress getting ripped up was beaten by "I see nothing".

IDK I just didn't feel as emotional about this one, because I connect more to Ariel, Belle, and Flynn as characters than I do Snow White.

Sparklefairy375 picked Ariel crying at the pier:
She simply cries for a guy she loves who marries another girl. It's sad, but the rest are sadder (as all of them are death scenes)

quishy11 picked Eugene's death:
They are all very sad, but this one I felt like you in the audience knew too much that nothing bad was going to happen. In a way that's the case with all of them; it's Disney and you know there will be a happy ending. But the other ones made it seem sadder and more real.

I think Belle and the Beast's scene was very emotional and dramatic. Ariel was so broken it was devastating. And I felt bad for the depressed dwarfs.

I think when Rapunzel thought Eugene left is her is the most heartbreaking scene in Tangled. That was super sad omg.

I felt more heartbreak from the other 3. Those are also the scenes that always make me cry and get emotional. I agree with princesslullaby, I didn´t had the same connection with Snow White as I did with the others.

JungleQueen13 picked the dwarves crying because of snow white’s death:
Honestly, if any of these are predictable, it's this one. We knew the spell could be broken by true love's kiss, and that Snow White loved the Prince. I couldn't predict how Eugene would come back to life, and it wasn't as straightforward with the Beast either.

Anyway, that's just my little rant, predictability of a scene doesn't have a huge influence over how heartbreaking I find it. Still, I've never felt like crying with this scene. I'm not sure why, but I guess more emotional distance from the dwarfs is the reason.

Swanpride picked Ariel crying at the pier:
The snow white one is easily the saddest one because it takes it's time. Everything about it..the organ music, the crying dwarves, and then suddenly Grumpy cries, too...I dare anyone to be cynical enough to not be touched by it.

I am between the BatB one and this one...but this one is not about someone dying, so.....

wavesurf picked the dwarves crying because of snow white’s death:
I'm going to pick death scenes, now. I don't find any of the death scenes to be tear-jerkers for me, even though it is Disney. For this, you have to make it devastating... like Grave of the Fireflies. Snow was tricked into eating the apple, but I know the story, and a kiss wakes her. Flynn/Eugene tells us at the very beginning of the film that "he dies," but he's the one doing the narration, so he is clearly living to tell the story.... Beast's death has never had the impact on me that it has on others. I don't feel anything when I hear Paige burst into tears... She sounds really fake to me, actually. With beast's death thing, I'm not sad. I'm simply waiting for the enchantress's spell to kick in, and of course, it does.

this is definitely a sad one and does shake me but out of all, this one is the least sad one. She is surely depressed for loss of her love but others about losing them forever...
