Sleeping Beauty has problems too, but it's one of Disney's most timeless movies, opposed to Aladdin that is already aging badly 20 years after the release. And as I've stated before, Aladdin has my least favorite princess, plot holes and a weak soundtrack (SB songs aren't really better than Al's, but it has an amazing score).

Definitely. Sleeping Beauty is a masterpiece, with gorgeous animation - a moving painting - and and ballet music.

Wait is this about animation or actual movie? If it's animation, then Aladdin bye bye, but if it is actual movie, Sleeping Beauty is worst

Aladdin is funny, the music is more upbeat, I love Genie and Abu, and it's a movie for both girls and boys (which is always a plus since I have both).

as much as I love Aladdin, it can't really compare in quality.

Nomatter how "well done" it is and how much it is "a work of art" it's just not entertaining and appealing. Spongebob is not very well done, but that's the reason why it's so great, because it's just a very fun show, Same with this, it's not that it's so symbolic or whatever, it's just that it's a very visually appealing film and may not have super detailed backgrounds but it can at least get the audience to keep their eyes on the screen.

^Eh, opinions. Sleeping Beauty is a movie for someone who is willing to appreciate it for the art and music, not entertainement value, IMO. And I don't think this movie is boring at all.

I love Aladdin.

Sleeping Beauty just aged way better. It has a timeless feel to it which Aladdin lacks. Never mind that it is Disney's most artistic movie.

And I am still very entertained by it. High points of Sleeping Beauty are the "once upon a time" scene, The Squabble of the Fairies, Maleficent hypnotizing Aurora, capturing Phillip and naturally the climax (which I have to point out just got voted for the best of all DP movies).

Aladdin's high point is the carpet scene. That's it, more or less. Everything else just looks very dated and Jafar is basically a less impressive copy of Maleficent.

@Swanpride While I don't think that Jafar is one of Disney's best villains and agree that Maleficient is superior, I don't see why you think they are simillar.

^Really? Tall, skeletal, long robes, bird sidekick, staff, etc. Jafar was inspired by Maleficent.

Pay also attention to the way Jafar plays with his staff (very similar gesture to what she does), the way his chin moves in some scenes and naturally the most obvious one - him turning into a giant dragon, or, sorry, snake. Nothing about his design is creative. It's like they took old animation and altered a little bit to make it look more "male".
