I'll rewrite what I wrote: In every high pressure situation, Pocahontas reacts horribly. She freezes. John jumps at her with a gun; albeit she didn't know it was a gun but nonetheless you can see someone pointing something at you, you move. She absolutely doesn't react, stays totally still, and then just runs off. Kocoum attacks John- she randomly runs around them and doesn't react for awhile. John Smith is captured- again, high pressure, she doesnt know what to do until she comes to the conclusion after looking at a compass for an hour to jump on him and not let him die---not that hard of a conclusion to come to. Reasons why I don't think Pocahontas is high on the DP intelligence scale.
She may have an awareness and understanding of nature and understanding different cultures but doesn't really apply it or explain it. She certainly displays wisdom at the end.

Too indecisive and passive. Her thinking is too abstract. Plus, she throws a fit when John Smith says that she doesn't know anything about the houses in England, but it is true.

She certainly is the wisest Princess but I differate wisdom from intelligence. I don't think her indecisiveness should be put at fault but she seriously lacks basic common sense. I haven't thought about my list but I never viewed Poca as someone particularly smart.

She is wise, curious, and open to other cultures and ways of thinking.
