For me she doesn't demonstrate any and basically tells some strange man, who could be working for Maleficent, where she lives. I know people see this as her meeting him in a safe place, but I would never tell some guy I barely knew where I live. Then your home isn't safe anymore. She just doesn't demonstrate any mind of her own- I see her as pretty spineless.

She is inquisitive and is aware of her responsibilities and doesn't show any major faults in intelligence. Her problem is that she doesn't assert/express herself. I don't blame her for arranging a meeting with Phillip: she knows he is her one true love, she met him once upon a dream, yadda yadda. It's simply fairy tale logic, though I know a lot of people would disagree.

^Perhaps I should rephrase it: she's aware of how her actions reflect on others. There is a lot at stake when you are a princess or a person in another position of power. That's the way I view her character.

I just see her as a fairly simple person who is content with her simple life, with a simple imagination. Not necessarily dumb, but not particularly smart either. And I agree with princesslullaby about meeting Phillip at the cottage.

Yeah, around Belle I'd probably put her, 4 or 5, maybe higher. Like Belle, she is curious about life beyond her own, and like Cinderella, she shows some foresight and sense when she makes plans to get to know him better in the safety of her own home.

I see no intelligence within her.

There is no real proof that she is smart or stupid, given her limited screen time.
