I'm pretty sure Gothel's backstory has some very intriguing aspects and it would be incredibly interesting to know what kind of person she was before becoming so obsessed with eternal youth/beauty and what drove her into that to the point where she'd literally do anything to keep it. What were her dreams, aspirations, was she ever in love? Also Ursula would be interesting too. After all, she is the most charismatic Disney villian.

Okay, I was wondering. I own several My Side of the Story books and there is one for Malificent and the evil queen. I will have to look that book up, sounds interesting. Thanks for answering.

I didn't know there was a Ursula one. I will have to find it. I also have 101 Dalmatians/Cruella, Peter Pan/Hook, and one more I think.

Her story would be really interesting because it would also be pretty long. She had a whole life even before the story began - we first see her as a very old woman, and there's no telling how long she revisited the flower until it was found. That could have been centuries in itself!

I'd love to know it.
