Hello, guys! I hope you've been having a good week! Again, I'm SO sorry I took incredibly long posting my last one! (Life getting in the way, certain members of my family having one birthday after another, including me, and the holidays are just afew examples. Hello everyone, as I did for 前一个迪士尼 Princess reboots, here is a comparison of the 1989 animated film with its 2023 live action reboot. With that being said, let's dive in!

The Storyline

While the storyline is faithful to the 1989 animated feature, I was very happy that there are several scenes that actually filled in the plot hole. Like we get to see Prince Eric's adopted mother and their relationship between mother and son. tied
Speaking of parental relationship, Ariel's relationship with her dad remains the same, except that in the animated feature. King Triton is a very hot tempered...

Yet another Mary Sue test. This time, it's Esmeralda. She's very similar to Belle, who scored surprisingly low. Let's see if she's as perfect on the inside as she is on the outside.

Unique traits without contacts 或者 hair dye- Sort of. Green eyes aren't impossible in WOC, but they are 更多 unique, and her eyes are drawn in a very striking and eye-catching way. Though it is just to justify her name. .5
An odd name- 'Esmeralda' is definitely a unique (though also very pretty) name. 1.

We've come to the big one. I hear Belle called a Mary Sue a lot, 更多 than any other princess aside from maybe Rapunzel.

An odd name- No. 'Belle' isn't that odd of a name.
Looks constantly 评论 on- God yes. The town literally sings an entire song about it (along with how odd she is). It's literally in the 标题 of the movie, along with her name. 1.

After doing the 更多 modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.

Reasons Why I don't like the Cinderella& Charming couple

Nearly all princesses, they have 爱情 interests. Although I am really into romance, I admire some of the couples. I 爱情 Ariel & Eric, but my 最喜爱的 couple is Rapunzel & Flynn. Anyway let me not mess the topic.

One of the most admired princesses is a 草莓 blonde, hardworking girl with diamond blue eyes, she is so kind to 动物 ; Its Cindy! 灰姑娘 I mean. Cinderella's 爱情 interest is Prince Charming. But I really don't like them as a couple and here are some reasons why:

1~ Charming doesn't deserve Cinderella

As there are many princesses 迪士尼 created, some of them get forgotten 由 many people on Fanpop. Some, even get forgotten 由 the whole internet and maybe the universe? Discs? TV? Okay, not that much but still..

I have to say my 最喜爱的 princess *sighs* is underrated on Fanpop. Elsa is one of the most 流行的 princesses on the internet, but not to say Fanpop. People in 潮流粉丝俱乐部 usually think she is 'overrated' and that's why they leave her underrated. Some 《冰雪奇缘》粉丝 post 文章 about how great Elsa is, including me but that just makes people feel like Elsa is liked because of her powers....
