All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if 你 dislike the 迪士尼 Princesses (and if 你 do I don't know why you're here!) 或者 hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend 阅读 this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if 你 wish, to make it shorter.

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine.She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see 茉莉, 茉莉花 as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). But I don't care I can state my Opinions even if I present them as though they are facts. About Frozen, No, I don't just hate I because it's so 流行的 but the 'hype' I dislike as well, sorry but I dislike lots of things. Is there a problem? Everyone here knows me to be the Shan Yu 粉丝 (Probably the biggest on this spot) with the unpopular opinion that Shan Yu is the best 迪士尼 Princess villain and the 秒 best 迪士尼 villain. I am always asked why, so I decided to make this 文章 giving a lot of the reasons why I have this opinion. I know a lot of 你 will probably not read this all the way through, but if 你 do, I was not holding a dictionary as I was 写作 this, I just got very serious on this topic.

When the term 迪士尼 villain comes to mind, people usually think of Scar, Ursula, Maleficent,...

Overdone? Maybe. Needed? Strongly so.

So, maybe some of 你 don't know, but I'm strongly annoyed when users criticize the Clasic Princesses for reasons I think are invalid. These reasons are:

1. Weakness
2. Anti-Feminists
3. Passiveness
4. They're Mary-Sues (have no flaws)

Sorry guys, but I’m just getting frustrated with this. So I’m just going to give my honest, harsh opinions and thoughts. I definitely have a problem with the way all the princesses have been redesigned, but I have to wonder why it is Merida is being singled out for criticism and not any of the others.


First of all, I’ve got to say I don’t see some of the issues people are taking with her redesign. Well, two specifically. The first is this supposedly “sexual pose” in her redesign that is mentioned in this picture:

I really hate all the hate the old princesses get, especially Snow White. She has a lot 更多 personality than she is 给 credit for (more than many of the 最近的 heroines have, too). she’s got a sassy sense of humor, she’s unbelievably emotionally strong despite the horrible abuse and near murder she went through twice (the victim blaming she and 灰姑娘 get is rather disgusting and hypocritical), she never gave up hope about meeting her 爱情 again, she didn’t need to run around chasing boys...

This is my personal 列表 of the prettiest 迪士尼 princesses. Again, this is just an opinion and their is no right 或者 wrong.I will also be rating the princesses in a mark I find fair (out of 10)

11) Merida (Brave)
I think her round face is what bothers me the most. It looks just like a big,fat circle, although her freckles fit her quite well. Her hair looks like she hasn't brushed it in year. And no, I'm not saying curls are ugly, but I think hers has too many volume.Don't get me wrong, she is pretty but she can't compare to other princesses.

I've already written 文章 on my 最喜爱的 princesses and action scenes, and now the countdow is about the "I want" songs. That's one of my 最喜爱的 moments in all DP movies. 茉莉, 茉莉花 doesn't have any solo song, so I didn't include her in the countdown.

Please notice I considered the scenes as a whole, not only the song.

9. Snow White - "Someday my prince will come"
This song is short, and it doesn't help that it's showed in the middle in the movie - It doesn't add nothing about Snow White's personality. It also doesn't help that she sang it sitting on a chair, that forbidded the animation...

10. Cinderella
This may come as a shocker for some. They are so blue and they looks weird. All my attention falls on her lips and the shape of her face rather that her eyes. I feel like "hmm, wow those eyes. Got to look away, ugh very blue, i might be blind after"

Her eyes are the best feature in her face. No wait her lashes are the best :D. Those light brown eyes are so pretty. Looks amazing...

I have to say, I’m tired of all this talk that the 迪士尼 Princesses are not feminist enough. Hearing some of the arguments against them, I come to the conclusion that the only female protagonist the complainers would accept has to be single, career oriented, perfect in every situation and being able to defeat every villain with a hand wave. This idea that the perfect female role model has to be 胜利之歌 in every situation and being able to handle everything herself terrifies me much 更多 than beauty standards the 迪士尼 Princesses represents. Because, when it comes down to it, we all know...

Well it wasn't a shock that his hair came last! Ok from where to begin his hair is ordinary, boring and look so fake! Like it was painted on his head that's why everytime 你 see him 你 remember of this link. Yes his hair is an extact copy of Barbie's Ken and maybe playmobiles.

16. Tiana’s Green Dress
This is the only Formal Princess dress that I hate. It is hideous! It isn’t flattering on Tiana. The color looks washed out, and the style of it is just plain awful. It looks like the animators literally drew this up in a few minutes. Of course she wears her hair up with this dress, but it isn’t in a cute ponytail, 或者 a neat bun; it is pulled up, but looks ratty, like she slept on it, and her tiara looks tacky.
