The EVIL QUEEN's and Lady Treamine's real reasons for bad treatment of their step-daughters

This is my opinion only. But I believe the reasons that Evil 皇后乐队 from Snow White and Lady Treamine from 灰姑娘 mistreat the titular characters is different from the in-story explanation.

Evil 皇后乐队 used the fact Snow was pretty as an excuse to get rid of an heir to the 王座, 宝座 which I presumable that the 皇后乐队 was ruling for Snow.

Lady Treamine's daughters might be older 由 a few months in the animated 迪士尼 movie. And back in those days older daughters were suppose to marry before younger ones.

I don't really have a reason for Edward's step-mother, Narcissa. But I assume that the Kingdom is suppose to be run mostly 由 a Queen?

laylastepford I think the Evil Queen and Snow reason is dead on. With Lady Tremaine, I think the given reasons from the movie make perfect sense. She was a cruel and jealous woman who was envious that Cinderella was more beautiful and charming than her own daughters. Women are more willing to take in step-children then men but most still don't prefer it. She married Cinderella's father knowing he had good money and she wanted it and didn't want to share it with some girl who was just in the way, in her opinion. Cinderella was kind of my real life. I actually did have a stepmom and 2 half-sisters who were just like Lady Tremaine and her daughters almost to a tee. It was horrible and I reminded my stepmom of my mother who came before her. I believe Cinderella reminded Lady Tremaine that she had to share and she didn't like that. (Also Lady Tremaine had to be reminded that she was a second wife, not a first wife so she knew Cinderella's father most likely didn't love her as much as he loved Cinderella's mother.)

MadameLee @Layla but I still have a point in the 2nd one. Since according to Taming of the Shrew story..(and maybe others-I don't know) the older daughters always had to get married first.

It gets weird that I 爱情 her when everyone hates Descendants for Audrey. Everyone hates Audrey because she's rude, selfish and also embarrassing Aurora fans. What I Want In 《冰雪奇缘》 3

When the first 《冰雪奇缘》 film was being advertised, I wasn't a 粉丝 of 迪士尼 at the time. I did enjoy a fair amount of their live-action films, but most of their animated films didn't appeal to me.
