Alright, so ever since I saw 魔发奇缘 way back when, my mind has kind of been in a tizzy over a lot of things. Mostly, my 爱情 for 说 movie, Flynn Rider, and my desperate want to play Mother Gothel in any alternate productions of the movie.
But also: can frying pans really work the way they do in the movie?
I'm not one to usually harp upon factual things in movies, especially animated ones, but I figured it would be a ton of fun to figure out the mathematical (scientific? I'm not sure how to classify it, really) logical-ness behind fighting bad guys with 厨房 appliances.
Now, if the average frying pan is, say, according to Wikipedia, 8-to-12-inches in diameter, and are made of cast iron. Using fancy mathematical stuffs and things, we can wager to guess that these pans are decently heavy. Turning to online stores, I looked at different pans, of the following weights:
4 lbs (Williams-Sonoma, 12 inches)
3.5 lbs (Amazon, 8 inches)
There weren't that many pans with weights listed, unfortunately, but I can wager to guess all average frying pans are around the 4 lbs. mark.
So that's 4 pounds of condensed force flying at someone - is it enough to knock them out? To 谷歌 we go!
An 文章 from LiveScience states this: "A cubic inch of bone can in principle 熊 a load of 19,000 lbs. (8,626 kg) 或者 更多 — roughly the weight of five standard pickup trucks — making it about four times as strong as concrete." So, us humans are pretty resilient - but what about the big ol' KO?
Another quote from LiveScience gives us something close to the answer. "A blow that gives the head enough spin to go from 0 to 43,000 rpm in just one 秒 has a 25 percent chance of knocking a person unconscious."
LiveScience is talking about punching, so we have to account for the fact that 你 can do a lot 更多 damage with a cast iron skillet versus a fist - the logical part of my brain says with that pan smacking someone, 你 probably have closer to a 50% chance of knocking someone unconscious.
So could Flynn and Rapunzel plausibly hit guards with that trusty pan and watch them fall like dominoes? No. Are they complete goners? Also no.

# 9 Prince Charming
Oh does this guy gripe me. I almost don’t even know where to start. I’ve never hated a 迪士尼 character; but what I feel for this chump is probably the closest I’ll ever get. Even though we don’t really get to know him in the first movie (which is what I go by…I don’t count sequels because they piss me off), I think I have a pretty good idea of how he rolls. I can “sort of” relate to him on one thing; his Father wanting him to get married so he can have grandchildren. My Mom wants nothing 更多 than for me to find the right guy, settle down, and spit...
I don't understand why a lot of users on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 don't seem to like Cinderella. I think she is overlooked. People think she just sits around and does nothing but I think there is 更多 to her than that. I think she is a strong character tho not as strong as the newer heroines such as Belle & Jasmine. I 爱情 Cinderella's optimistic attitude & she works hard to get what she wants. I think she is smart. She is mature. She is kind. It amazes me that she still has a positive attitude after all those yrs of being abused 由 her step family. I wish I can be as positive as she was. I think 灰姑娘 is a stronger character than Snow White & Aurora. I think she is the strongest out of the classic heroines.

My opinion on which princess are hot and which aren't. Basically a 列表 on who I would bang.
10. Snow White.
She's a munter.
I suppose that's a bit harsh but she has the least bangability out of the all. She's just way too young, innocent and, to be honest, annoying to even consider. And she's not in anyway hot.
9. Cinderella.
She's pretty but she doesn't have any features to be considered "hot" in my opinion. She doesn't have a hot face. She doesn't have a hot body. And she doesn't have any personal qualities that make her bangable. Plus she'd probably run away half way through.
8. Mulan....
