I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 to make crossovers and they turn out pretty good.

Ok, there is a site that most people use; but 你 can also make crossovers using Paint on your computer. All 你 do is copy two 或者 更多 pics and paste them to different pages in Paint, cut around all the bits 你 want to use and then save them. Then, paste them onto whatever background 你 want to use, hit Transparent Select on the Select menu button and 移动 them to wherever 你 want them til you're happy and then save and 上传 pic. (as deckdarcie) 你 can use paint on your computer. It works pretty well for the most part. I use pixlr.com now, and I definitely prefer it. It's free and easy to use, and it has a lot 更多 effects than paint. It's also a lot easier to erase around 你 edges, and to rebuild backgrounds if 你 need to. All 你 do is 上传 你 pictures and cut out what 你 don't want, just like 你 would on paint. I think the site has instructions too, if 你 get confused. Hope this helps! Good luck. :)

I use Gimp (version 2.6) for editing pictures. It's free to download and it include lot of different features. And after that I 编辑 ready picture with pixlr-o-matic for change 颜色 或者 add overlays and borders.
