Demi Lovato stepped out for the 音乐电视 Video 音乐 Awards looking stunning, and healthy, but that didn't stop some people from hating on her!

Non-fans took to twitter and other social media outlets to 评论 on Demi’s weight saying she was looking “chunky"! This is crazy, because everyone knows that Demi had an eating disorder and that she looks normal now.

Demi took matters into her own hands to respond to haters. Demi tweeted, “I’ve gained weight. Get over it. That’s what happens when 你 get out of treatment for AN EATING DISORDER.”

Demi quickly deleted that post and then posted, “Guess what, I’m healthy and happy, and if you’re hating on my weight 你 obviously aren’t. :)”

Then, true 粉丝 came to the rescue! Demi’s 粉丝 defended her beauty 由 getting her trending with phrases like “Demi Lovato is Stunning” for over 9 hours!

The Twitter 显示 down was so big that ABC News featured the story on the morning news, 展示 a wonderfully positive take on it and praising Demi for sticking up for herself and being a great role model!
