Liz was working at her office, when the phone rang.
“Sheriff Forbes” she 说 short when she answered.
“Sheriff Forbes, hi” Stefan replied. “I was wondering how it’s going with the murder on Gabe Lindy”
“I’m sorry, Stefan. I can’t give away such information” Liz answered.
“I’m going to take a wild guess and say the corpse is missing” Stefan 说 amused. A few 秒 of complete silence followed. Stefan had asked Katherine to compel the sheriff to forget he knocked her down and took the body.
“What do 你 know about that?” Liz eventually asked.
“Doesn’t matter” Stefan avoided the question. “But I think I might be able to help you. I think 你 should take a look inside Rachel Lindy’s house”
“Stefan, if 你 know something, 你 have to tell me” Liz 说 strict.
“I just did” Stefan replied, even 更多 amused. “You’re going to have to trust me on this, Liz. I promise 你 won’t be disappointed”
Ten 分钟 later Liz stood in front of Rachel’s house. Since no one answered the door when she rang, she tried the door and successfully opened it.
“Mrs. Lindy?” she called. There was no reply. She walked through the hallway into the kitchen. There was no one.
Sheriff Forbes, having quite some experience in the matter, looked for the basement, switched the light on when she found it and went downstairs.
She found the corpse near the window. She conjured her phone and dialed a number.

The 下一个 morning.
A buzzing sound, coming from Caroline’s pedestal cupboard woke her up and she opened her eyes. She took her phone and opened it. She had received a message from an unknown person.
“I know what 你 are and we will destroy you” she read aloud. She swung her legs off the 床, 床上 and searched for her ring. When she had found it she put it on and walked to the window. She shoved the curtain and stared outside.
The sky was grey. It seemed like it was going to rain.
Caroline opened the window and climbed over the edge.
“Game on, bitch” she mumbled, before she jumped and landed gracefully on the pavers.
