Which is kind of disappointing, but I understand 'other' shippers that want to interpret it their way in order for it to 'taint' DE for them. Well this is MY take...

S3 finale yesterday and the "choice" was made.Elena choose Stefan.I see that a majority of our fandom says that it is quitting and that Stefan got another free pass.Allthough I am mad at Stefan(for other reasons)I think that her choosing him is not such a disaster.

I always say that and I'm going to repeat!! DON'T LOSE YOUR HOPE IN DELENA BEING ENDGAME!I don't say that just to say, I say that b/c I believe in that!! I put my faith on it, after everything, DELENA is going to go trough all of this!! DEstiny is not easy to run from!!! It's the DEal, the DEstiny!! Put your hand up if 你 were disappointed/upset/annoyed that there was no DE in 2x16. I know I was. Then I realised that, as aggravating as it might be to see the 爱情三角形, 三角 take a back-seat, it might not be a bad thing that the writers are taking it slow. Whatever 你 do, DON'T fall into the trap of assuming that because we didn't get any DE these past 3 episodes, then it means we've fallen off the writers' radar. That could not and will not ever happen. The 爱情三角形, 三角 is an integral part of the show.

Thoughts on the future of DE and How TVD will end

Now that I think about it. 你 know how in a past interview the writers 说 they already have an idea of how they want the 显示 to end. I bet Elena doesn’t end up with either brother and ends up having 婴儿 with Matt 或者 someone b/c in the episode “The Last Day”Elena confessed that she never wanted to be a vampire. I think she will stick with that b/c she wants to have a human life along with having kids and everything else that goes with it and that would make tvd different from all the rest of the fandoms. I think she will for now while she’s still young have strong relationships...

Now that I’ve read the interview, I honestly don’t understand what the big deal is. This was blown way out of proportion imo, probably due to the fact that Damon and Elena 粉丝 have been waiting so long and our couple is prone to taking baby steps 前锋, 期待 that are followed 由 huge steps backward. So I can understand the frustration, but still, I don’t think the quote is necessarily a bad thing.

So this is just my take on it:
