Recap from The Host finale:
She grabbed Damon's arm, forced him to turn around, threw her arms tightly around his neck and kissed him passionately. It didn't take long for Damon to recover
and he lay his hands around her middle, pulling her tightly closer.
They disconnected their lips and looked in each other’s eyes.
“I 爱情 you, Damon Salvatore” Elena 说 soft, but honest.
“I 爱情 you, Elena Gilbert” Damon said.
They kissed again, while the rain kept falling.


秒 日 of school

Come on, Elena, only twenty 分钟 left. 你 will go through this torture. That’s what Elena kept repeating in herself, while checking her watch every five minutes. She felt like Alaric was dragging his class out, but maybe that was because she couldn’t wait to go 首页 to meet a certain someone. Not that she couldn’t live without him for a little while, but their relationship was still early on and they hadn’t seen each other since breakfast.
She jumped up when someone tapped her arm and looked aside. Caroline passed her a note. She opened it and read: ‘Seen Bonnie?’ She looked up and shook her head. She checked her watch again. Ten minutes.
“Miss Gilbert, are we stalling you? 你 need to be somewhere right now?”
Elena blushed and swallowed. “No, mister Saltzman”
Alaric carried on with his teaching and nine 分钟 later the school 钟, 贝尔 rang. Elena put away her 图书 and walked to Alaric.
“Can I help you, miss Gilbert?” Alaric asked while he put away his stuff as well. Elena raised her eyebrows. “Can 你 knock it off with the miss Gilbert crap?”
Alaric crossed his arms and looked at Elena.
“You should go talk to Damon. He misses you” Elena said. Alaric averted his head. “Oh, well, last time I checked Damon has a phone himself and I’m pretty sure he knows how to use it” he said.
Elena shrugged. “He thinks 你 haven’t forgiven him yet for stabbing Jeremy” she explained. Alaric looked back at her, a confused expression on his face. “What? Why? I know he didn’t do it. It was Emily” he said?
“Then call him and tell him” Elena 说 soft, laying her hand on Alaric’s arm. Alaric shook his head. “I can’t” he said. “Why not?” Elena asked desperate. Alaric closed his schoolbag and sighed. “I should’ve listened to him. When I thought he had tried to kill Jeremy he wanted to explain. I saw the confusion on his face, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I should’ve trusted him. If I wouldn’t have send him away those things might have never happened to him. I’m just as responsible as Bonnie and Stefan”
Elena grabbed Alaric’s arms and shook him. “Are 你 being serious? Come on, Ric, 你 know that’s not true. Damon isn’t angry with you, not at all. 你 have to stop beating yourself up like that”
She let go of him. “You know what? Why don’t 你 come over tonight, so 你 and Damon can talk”
Alaric frowned. “I thought today was the 日 你 and Damon met a 年 ago”
Elena made a step backwards. “How do 你 know that?” she asked surprised. “Caroline” was all Alaric said. “Naturally” Elena sighed obvious. “Well, anyways we’re not doing something big. It’s just going to be me and Damon” She smiled as she 说 his name.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t count on it” Alaric 说 and he searched in his 台, 办公桌 drawer. He pulled something out and showed it to Elena. It was a flyer saying DAMON AND ELENA ANNIVERSARY PARTY AT THE BOARDING HOUSE TONIGHT AT TEN. “Caroline’s been handing this out this morning and during lunch break and I’m pretty I saw a pile of them lying in the Grill last night”
